Great window perch
Our cat has really enjoyed this window perch. It holds well even when he attacks the suction cups or leaps from a distance to jump into it. He’s a growing kitten and currently weights 7lbs. I honestly can’t wait for the warmer weather so he can watch the birds and butterflies.

Easy to assemble and no problems holding my cat. The suction cups are great! I had to push firmly until they flattened against my windows I cleaned in preparation. We’ve had it about 2 weeks and he loves it!

Fits in most windows.
Quick to put up. Assembly is too easy, screw suction cup to board, set pillow on board and tie string to ropes. Sturdy, has great suction on window. The board is thick and everything pre assembled. My cat was on it within 2 hrs. I have 21″ wide windows and with suction cups on rope can place correctly. Very happy

It took her a little bit to get used to it, but now that she tested it out, it is a favorite spot. I put it in a window with lots of action to look at and she loves it.

Cat crashed by chewing rope
This arrived on time and the cushe was soft. Easy set up and my cat hopes right up. He is a big guy and like ve to chew on rope. Well as you can imagine chewy ng on the rope pulls the suction cup and…just like that it came crashing down on one side. Chaos ensued and I received a cat look of betrayal like none other

Our kitten loves it – but we have some suggestions
This window perch is designed well and should work in theory, but an actual successful implementation depends on your windows and window treatments.We hung it on a window that has a shade, which works until I want to close the shade. The only way to lower the shade is to remove the window perch. That’s a little too much for me to do every day, so we are going to modify the upper hanging solution by removing those two suction cups. We are going to attach an eye bolt into a couple of wall studs so we can attach the swing to a wall opposite the window. We’ll just thread the rope through the eye bolts and reattach the rope at the bottom of the swing. I’m also not sure about the strength and durability of the suction cups if we left them up for long periods of time.As for the wood seat, it’s a solid piece of wood that is rounded and sanded. It’s smooth and certainly won’t splinter. The cushion is nice and soft. I’m not a fan of the cushion ties, but they do work. I just tucked the ends under the cushion so our kitten wouldn’t try to play with them. (Once we permanently mount the swing, I’ll probably cut those to size.)The hanging ropes are heavy duty and will definitely hold a cat’s weight. I like the rear suction cups and plan to keep those attached because they will prevent the swing from scraping whatever surface the swing touches. We have textured walls and those suction cups will come in handy to protect the finish.Overall, our kitten enjoys the swing and watching her observe the outside world is worth modifying it for our needs.
