    Made travel a dream.
This crate was great for my 14lb pooch. I took her on several practice trips to various stores and had her spend time in the crate before traveling. At first she scratched on the screens, etc. but with the help of treats and hanging out watching tv with a bone, she was ready to fly. The unit is very stable, wheels work great on smooth surfaces. It fit under the seat of a small UnitedExpress aircraft without taking the wheels off. We practiced taking wheels on & off and it is awkward while the dog is in the crate, so I was happy it fit so easily. I used 2 caribeneer clips to hold the zippers secure and allow my hand to go in the cage without the dog escaping. People had no idea there was an animal inside. Love the water pocket, treat pocket & the roomy leash pouch fit a water bowl & a bone. It’s lightweight and easy to carry with the shoulder strap (Although I changed mine out with a more comfortable & stylish strap) 5 stars for Function & Style!

Largest pet carrier that still fits under the airline seat
My 10-year-old Jack Russell has never been on a plane before so I was quite nervous about this trip. She is quite large at 20 pounds and long. She’s pretty much at or over the maximum size that I would consider OK to fly with. Thus I was quite nervous about this trip. I have spent many hours online and in-store researching and checking out various bags. The first bag I tried was the large Sherpa that is so popular. I stuffed her in one at Petsmart, she did not like it at all. She had no room to move around and could not even come close to lifting her head up. I was surprised considering the dimensions of the Sherpa. I even checked to make sure I had the right size.I was then going to try the large Sturdibag, which is the carrier that I really wanted. But it is shaped like a dome and smaller than the Sherpa I tried. The dome would not give her any room on top.The carrier I almost bought was the Petsfit expandable. I think this would have worked, but i was looking for something just a tiny bit larger. Then I found this large Dbest carrier at Pet Supermarket. I tried it out, and much to my surprise even though it’s only an extra inch or 2 in dimensions versus the other 3, there just appeared to be a lot more room for her. This is due to the design of this bag, which is the best I’ve seen so far. You will notice that it is tapered towards the back to fit under the seat, and it is square on top. This meant she wasn’t so confined. She could still turn around, which she certainly could not do in the Sherpa. Thus this is the least claustrophobic of all of the bags that I have seen. Plus I figured I could used the wheels since I was packed carrying other bags.I flew Southwest, which is very dog friendly. The only other airline that I know of is Spirit that takes 20lb+ dogs. SW is $95 and Spirit is $125 for carrying dogs. SW is best since they also let you check 2 bags free. Ultimately it depends on who goes nonstop. You can see from the pictures that it did stick out 2″, but the stewardess did not bat an eye at this. They didn’t even notice that I had my dog until I was exiting the plane. Plus I would recommend you get the black carrier, as you really can’t tell that there’s a dog inside. They think it’s luggage. And there is still plenty of ventilation. I did notice that you will want to sit in either the window seat which I was at, or the middle seat which gives you even more room. The aisle seat, although I still think she would have fit, would’ve really been a small space, and I would not of been able to put my feet on either side. Only the middle seat, would allow me to put a foot on each side. I did not have a problem with the size of the bag or foot space. But then I am fairly skinny. Now as for the Velcro on the bottom. I detached the wheel platform of course before I boarded the plane. Used the shoulder strap to carry her on and stuck the wheel platform in the overhead bin. The main issue people noted about this carrier, is the 2 Velcro strips that are needed to attach the wheel platform, now are a nuisance because it grabs the carpet and and makes it hard to slide under the seat. I had to stick my arm underneath and use my hand as a buffer between the Velcro and the carpet to get it to slide backwards. I’m still not sure I got it all the way back. All hard with dog Inside. It was only the rear Velcro that was an issue. I was able to do this, but on a packed plane, I can see this may be a problem for some people. I would recommend that you bring a piece of cardboard or something similar so you could put it under the carrier and slide it under the seat easily.I did not have any problems with the telescoping handle, or the wheels falling off as some people have noted. As far as I’m concerned this is the only bag I would ever fly with for a dog my size. With the possible exception of the Petlife expandable. One other thing I certainly recommend, is as you can see the small bag of treats that I brought along. My dog would NOT put her head down so I could zip up the top, and instead gave me that stubborn look. She would for the treats however in order to get them.Well done Dbest, you saved the day!PS. I will post pics ASAP.

Don’t Buy! Review 11 months after purchase
Before writing this review, I reached out to the manufacturer, dbest Producst, and the seller, VIRVENTURE. Both would not accept a return. Here is the problem. The “telescoping” handle does not fully retract after one use. Many other reviewers have noted this as well. I have only used this carrier 6 times in the last 11 months, since I purchased it. I only used it to take my cat to the local vet, not long distance traveling with it.I have only used the telescoping handle once, as my cat did not like rolling on the floor. I carried the carrier instead. After one use of the telescoping handle, it would not stay fully retracted. Thus, the problem is that when you are carrying the cart, the handle will fall out and become a tripping hazard and get caught on door jams, etc. See my photos. The handle extended itself when I was carrying it, and I tripped over the handle, fell on top of the carrier, which could have result in substantial harm to me or my cat.Since I don’t roll the cart, I can’t speak to the longevity of the wheels, but many folks have submitted reviews about the wheels falling off. So, with wheels falling off, and the retractable handle falling out willy-nilly, why would you buy this piece. You don’t.I first reached out to the manufacturer, and their one-line response was to contact Amazon or the seller, VIRVENTURES. Nothing else, period. When a manufacturer doesn’t stand behind their product simply because one didn’t buy directly from them, shame on them. They must know their product is substandard.VIRVENTURES, the seller, simply said no to the return request because it was past the 30-day return period. In summary, don’t spend a dime on this cart, as it is flimsy, wheels will fall off, the handle will quickly break, and you will be out of luck with a return unless you act within 30 days of purchase.

I really really love this pet cart, the first time I used it, it was pouring rain outside and the fabric dries really fast, it needs very little space to store because you can fold it. My dog weight 22 pounds and he is comfortable inside and can move around easily, my cart is a Large size, I would not suggest it for a dog that weight more than that, the dog would fit too tight inside. The people on the street was looking at the cart with a big smile on their face and find it beautiful and original. The only thing with this cart, is when I walk my dog, sometime he was moving around a lot inside it and the cart fall on the side a couple of times, and I wish it will not twist and break the metal handle eventually. I suggest the manufacturer to put another 1 or 2 layers of Velcro under the bag to solidify it on the cart.

Brilliant for my big cat for his vet check as I don’t drive. He actually enjoyed the trip home. Lounging like a boss and he rolled along. Well made and sturdy

It worked great. It was very stable and easy to use. The only thing you should know is that you need to take the bottom section with the wheels apart from the bag to Get the carrier under neath the airplane seat. The two peices attach using strong Velcro and a Velcro strap. The bottom of the airplane has carpet. It was near impossible to get the bag underneath the seat. Luckily I had a great steward who let the carrier be halfway in the aisle. Next time I will be prepared. Overall a great carrier.
