I was very pleasantly surprised at this little device! It works! I have two huskies and they respond immediately. Easy to use and carry and the noise level is low. It gently corrected jumping on people and kept them calm when running into new dogs . Highly recommend

I’ve been using this dog bark deterrent device for a couple of weeks now, and I’m really impressed with how well it’s working. Overall, the dogs respond very well to all of its features, which is great for training and managing their barking.I specifically started using it to help with the training of our new dog. While the progress is a bit slow (but that’s more about the dog than the device), I can already see some positive results, and I’m hopeful that with continued use, things will improve further.The device is incredibly easy to use. Stops the constant barking!
We have neighbors on both sides with crazy barking dogs. We have had enough! We tried a fog horn and only hurt our ears. So I ordered this and we are satisfied that it is doing the job. Not for all night, but it shuts them up for the afternoon so we can have peace and quiet. It’s easy and fits in my hand. Being orange, I can find it easily when needed. It holds up well and we might just get one for our kids (their dogs, not the kids, haha.)

REALLY WORKS!
TOTAL GAME CHANGER!!!!!! We have several mini dachsunds and they are habitual barkers/yappers!!! We firmly tell them NO BARK, with no results! The one barks then the others chime in! Any movement on the other side of our fence and they immediately bark and don’t stop till I bring them inside. Read the reviews on this item and so many had good luck, I decided to give it a try. There are 3 modes, I chose the middle one. When they barked, I said NO BARK and tapped the button and released. Immediately they stopped barking!!! We went through this drill, again and again over the next few days, everytime they barked, I firmly said NO BARK and tapped the middle button. Three days is all it took! Now, when they bark and I say, NO BARK, they stop immediately!!!!!!! This is so efficient! It really works!!! It’s charged with a USB cord I plugged into my laptop when we first got it from Amazon. 3 days so far and still holding the initial charge! Buy it! You will be so happy you did!

Seems effective, better instructions/explanations needed
I’ve only had this for a couple of weeks but wanted to weigh in since most of the reviews here are vague and so positive they sound like advertising copy. I have three dogs and the newest one, adopted 9 months ago from an international street life-injury situation, goes insane barking at my neighbor’s dog. Both dogs lunge at the wood fence between us and bark wildly, one time even breaking the fence. The first time I used this, it was miraculous–both dogs froze and stopped barking. Since then, my other dogs and my neighbor’s dog seem more affected by it than my new guy. THERE ARE EXTREMELY LIMITED INSTRUCTIONS with this device. First you’d have to be an ant wearing glasses to read the tiny pamphlet included with the thing. Also how do you know when it needs a re-charge? No indicator until you plug it into charger. That said, this does seem effective in general, but not sure my wild dog is getting the message. My sensitive dog goes into tremors and runs and hides if she’s anywhere near it, so it must work. I’m just frustrated with wondering if it’s charged properly (must be, if the others react) and what I can do to make it affect the barker in my group.
