Installation instructions:
1. Carefully measure then trim length and width.
2. Make sure the outside back of your aquarium is clean. Then, generously spray the water all over the back of your tank.
3. Have a friend hold one side at one end of the tank, and you hold the other. Line up the top of the background with top edge of tank, and then gently lay flat against the glass. If it starts to pull away during this process, spray the glass more.
4. Use a good straight edge to smooth out all the bubbles from underneath.
5. Finally, tape the edges to reinforce

Just what I was looking for for my 36×18 tank!
I had to buy a new tank recently when my old one sprung a leak and I couldn’t fix it and I needed a new background because my old tank was shaped differently. I loved the PVC background and just can’t get into the new trend of cloth ones. Cloth and water just don’t mix in my opinion. But the design on the few PVC backgrounds I could find were soo not what I was looking for. And then I found this. It’s perfect!! It’s similar to what I had before, which I really wanted to keep my turtle from having too much of a change. I got the 71 inches one because my new tank is 36×18 and it was perfect! It actually wrapped around the back and both ends (so I think it was more like 73 inches). I did have to cut it down from 23 inches tall to 13 5/8 inches to fit my tank, but I chose the area of the design I wanted to show in the tank and trimmed it easily using scissors. The colors are so vibrant and it looks great!! Exactly what I wanted. Oh, and it’s not adhesive despite the title so you will need to secure it in place with some tape.

Very simple yet great looking background for your fish tank. Loved that it came in rolled up and not folded like other ones I found.

The background makes my turtle tank come all together 🥰🐢. The background paper is good quality I recommend measuring your tank and then use scissors or an x acto knife. The only think that I didn’t like was the tape that comes with the background. It doesn’t stick very well to the glass so I recommend using a different tape that has good adhesive. Other than that it’s worth to make any tank more lovable. 🤍🐢P.S The background is double sided. And the last pic is before my turtle’s tank has the background 🙂

It’s worth it for the price
It doesn’t show up as well as it should, but it definitely looks better than without it. If I had longer lights it would show a little more, but through the bubblers you can see it well enough. There were only 4 stickers to tape it up there so I used some of my own as well. It sticks very well. It fits my 55 gallon aqueon [48″×20]. I do recommend this product.UDPDATE:If you wet the background before applying it to the outside of the back of your tank it looks a lot better. You can see the background like you’re supposed to. I changed my review to a 4 star from a 3. I’ll have to reset it sometimes, but at least it looks great! I uploaded a picture to see thw differences from the video for a before & after I wet & reapplied it, which made it stick to the back of the tank. It’s barely taped on there, but still sticking very well.

This backdrop was the easiest to mount on my 75 gallon aquarium ,EVER!! I added this backdrop to a full aquarium behind 4 pump tubes and a full size heater cord AND the tank sits less than 2 inches from a wall. I used some clear tape and it was done and looks great in the tank…no complaints and to think I almost didn’t try to mount this because I thought it would be too much of a hassle….Well worth the money and it had 2 pics to choose from and was the perfect size all the way around…

It’s a 2 sided background …
it looks ok, not as good as i expected..but i thought the fish might like it…?? Who knows right??:)Well, it stayed on there fine, didn’t tear at all. But we ended up selling the aquarium , after 4 yrs, so this background went with the tank.Hope this helps you !
