This is an excellent value! I have a lot of fish so I go through a lot of fish food. I was pleasantly surprised at how big it is, especially for the price. My fish love it and I like that it’s not dyed or colored like other fish foods are. The flakes are a bit bigger which is great for all fish because if you have small fish you can just crush it between your fingers easily or just put whole flakes in for larger fish. I usually do a pinch of it uncrushed and then finely grind it between my fingers for my smaller fish and baby fry. I don’t think you can get a better deal than this. This is my go to fish food from now on. My fish are very happy because they love bugs so it is good for their health and all of my aquariums are thriving. Thank you!

Fish Love It!
We have a 36-gallon fish tank with a small variety of freshwater fish. On a whim, I bought this brand of food for them when I was running low. From the very first feeding, it was clear they all absolutely love this food. It’s like throwing candy to toddlers. Our two angelfish have actually started “begging” for more of it, staring at me through the glass and following every move I make just in case I might give in and put another pinch of it in there ahead of schedule. Rather creepy, but it demonstrates how much they love this food. Five stars!

So BIG! I think it’s a lifetime supply! But I appreciate that and my bettas thrive on this food and are extremely colorful.

Good brand with quality ingredients, but not well loved by the fish. Then again, our snobby fish aren’t fond of flakes. They’ll tell you that flakes are for peasants. At least the shrimp and worm colonies enjoy them. So, not sure if we’ll buy again, but it was a decent value for the price.

Unbeatable quality and value
bottom line: Fish go crazy for these flakes and packaging is so good that flake size is preserved. I highly recommend this product. The first thing I do when buying a new flake food is pull back the metal foil and check the size of flakes. When purchasing from my local store I often get bottles only three-quarter full And many of the flakes are smaller due to shipping and handling. This bottle is so full the flakes had nowhere to move so they’re all perfect. Well done Bug Bites.

Easy to use small pot that I use to supplement flake and vary their diet, my tropicals love it! This is small grains rather than powder and not suitable for very small fish, there is inevitably a more dusty element at the bottom of the pot but overall no complaints. My rams in particular go mad for it and eat them like its their last meal.
