our parrot is still in shock … two months + after christmas and he can’t figure a way to destroy it yet! he discriminates his ‘jingle bell’ from the others. great fun. nice purchase.

Nice toy, a bit small
Well made, but smaller than what I thought

Bird toy is sturdy, well made, bird likes it.
I bought this for my Moluccan Cockatoo. I saw this and knew he would love it and he does. He throws it, fetches it, rings it and, of course, tries to destroy it. But he can’t so far. It seems that it will last a long time, is easy to rinse clean, the bell sound is not too loud for me, the welds are firm, strong and smooth. I will probably buy again IF he does manage to break it.

Not worth the money

Very durable
So I bought this for our kitten because our large dogs break the plastic bell ones that are meant for cats. We were very concerned that one of them may end up swallowing a piece so I decided to give this a try. I was concern at first that it might be too large for her, she is still a kitten, but she loves it! She stays entertained with it for hours and the size is just fine. It is very durable as our dogs have picked it up a couple of times but the metal taste I guess was not something they desire so they have left it alone. Great value for the money and it’s going to be a toy that will last her a life time. I have own large breed birds in the past as well and would recommend it for any Parrot owning home.

I ordered this as I have two indoor galahs. Both wild rescues no longer able to survive on their own. Our older bird, Zephyrus, is now flightless due to a run in with mankind. But that doesn’t stop him for being active or destructive. You can tell, by the cupboard seen in the videos that he has chewed into and now nests in.I wanted a safe toy – no sharp bits. No potential toxins through paint, adhesive, or dyes. No loose bits he could potentially consume and be harmed by. No plastic!Plus it needed to be robust enough to last his very rough attention, be easy to keep clean, and be something he’d want to play with. This toy is all of those things!Made from easy to clean stainless steal, there are no sharp edges, no areas to get claws or beak stuck in. No sticky out bits to snag on. It’s a lovely, smooth, safe metal ball… with a noisy bell inside. And so well presented! After unboxing, the toy came wrapped in paper, inside a velvet drawstring bag. Now, Zeph didn’t get the bag, but I left it in the clearly parrot safe paper and let him unwrap it. He had a lot of fun.A lot of care, thought, and attention to pet safety clearly went into this toy. Now, as for that bell. I personally don’t mind the volume level. As I know Zeph loves to play “destroy it” with loud things. Other members of the family may complain, but I’m not about to. Plus, as Zeph is very energic with his play, it only lasts a short time. And needs a human to return the ball. His favourite game with it is to sneak up on the ball, wrestle it for a bit, then toss it off his cage. It’s not hostile “get that thing away from me” reaction. It’s a “this is my cage, let me wrestle then remove my noisy mortal enemy” reaction. In all the videos, he is playing with it. The ball can be on top of his cage, ignored, for hours. Then, suddenly, he’ll attack and eject it. Then make a noise until someone comes along to get it off the floor (he doesn’t go down there due to out cats, he likes beating them up too but balls don’t fight back). Zephyrus will then attack, wrestle and eject the ball, and ask for it back from one of his human servants. All part of the game.Although I’ve recently had some bad experiences with ordering parrot items, this ball it brilliant. Just what I hoped it would be, and I am very happy with my order. Definitely a keeper!

We got this ball for our lorikeet – we don’t have a large parrot like an African Grey or Macaw. However, our lorikeet goes through plastic balls with metal balls inside so fast. We buy them in 3 or 6 packs and they last months, but not years. So I thought it might be good to get a metal one. However, it is a little heavy for our lorikeet. He can pick it up and throw it, but I don’t think he enjoys it as much, as he usually yeets the other ones down the staircase and likes to see how it bounces etc. This one does not bounce in the same way, but he does still enjoy pushing it around. It’s a nice quality ball, and easier to clean because it’s stainless steel.
