Powerful 800 Gph Pump so far
Price is amazing for the flow rate. It was able to push up 3 feet high and about 15 foot long in a 1/2 inch hose. Purchased to help with water changes on my 72 gallon cichlid tank after having hernia Surgury. My thought was this would be temporary until I was able to lift a 5 gallon bucket shoulder height to pour water back into tank during water changes in my aquarium. Tank is about 15 feet from sink and the pump worked fantastic. My main reason for purchasing this was the fact that it came with a way to reduce the flow to what you needed. I used my python to vacuum my sand substrate into a 5 gallon bucket and pump was in the bucket pushing water into my sink. Then I put the bucket into the sink with the pump, turned on the faucet and the pump when reducing the flow kept pushing at the same rate the faucet poured into the bucket!! Bingo!! I will never lift another bucket ever again!! So mad I didn’t do this sooner!!! Reduced my water changes more than half the time with absolutely no lifting or straining or spilling water while pouring from a 5 gallon bucket into the tank!!

Nice pump, not too large for a small installation, an extension tube would have been a nice addition
This is a pretty good pump and it is powerful. It will shoot water several feet, though I use it on a setting at about 6-12 inches because mine is in a barrel planter with water plants. I would have liked if they had an extension tube included. I had to put a few bricks under it to get the proper height but it works and seems to be reliable so far. I have only been running it about a week or so. It is very quiet. I really do not notice the pump sound at all over the sound of bubbling water. I would recommend for the price but I do think a 3 or 6 inch extension tube would be a good thing to include in the package. Update: the pump ended up lasting about 6 months and now makes noise but no water pressure comes out at all. Cleaning it makes no difference.

Very nice pump.
I bought this to replace the pump that had failed in my garden fountain. I tried to match it by comparing the wattage of the two but that proved incorrect. This pump uses 1/2 the watts but pumps almost double the water flow. I was able to adjust it down on the pump so all is good now. It’s extremely quiet and of course very efficient. Seems to be built quite well. I give it 2 👍👍 thumbs up.

This is the 3rd time that I have bought this pump. Each one has lasted 2 yrs. I consider that great for the price. The fish just had to go without a pump for a day so now I am ordering a 4th one to just have so that in 2 yrs they won’t have to wait a day. That is how satisfied I am.

Something’s in the water
So I needed a water pump to circulate water in my reservoir for my plants. So I decided to go with this model because it says in the description that it is FULLY SUBMERSIBLE!When I first got the pump, it looked like it was used. There was dirt and dents in the outer body of the pump that made it seem like this was a refurbished model or it had been sold to a previous customer. (1st 2 photos) I decided to say the hell with it, and use it anyway because I needed a water pump asap. Had no issue with hooking it up to my Wi-Fi extension cord and setting Auto timers, everything was good. Noise level wasn’t that bad, but I could hear it from the next room over through the walls. Again it wasn’t as loud as some other prompts that I had so I could deal with it. After about 3 days of smooth service, with no issues I decided to take a look into the reservoir and test my water for pH. You can see in pictures 3,4,and 5, that there was rust in my water. The hose and the filter piece that runs out of the reservoir is made with plastic, and the little filter is made from pumice stone. So that only leaves the water pump that could be creating the rust. Not to mention when I rinsed it out there was a bunch of rust that came out of it. I decided to put a piece of cheesecloth around the filter and run one water cycle through to see how much rust was actually going into my water. (Picture 8) that’s just from one water cycle! So I will be asking for my money back ASAP. Anybody else that is looking for a water pump, I would suggest looking elsewhere and making sure that you take a look at the parts on the description to see if they are rust proof, and really fully submersible!
