Great for supplemental feeding. I feed to my guppies and notice more vibrant colors after.
This is a massive container of freeze-dried tubifex worm cubes! I was looking for a supplemental food for my fancy guppies other than goldfish flakes, and my guppies seem to enjoy the rare addition to their food. I don’t feed too much at a time because even though the description says “floating”, it will sink after a few minutes of being in the water. Try not to put clumps of the food in either, because again, that will become waterlogged very quickly and sink.I use a feeding circle in my 5-gal fish tank that I made out of styrofoam, sealed with packing tape. This is fixed to the side of my tank, and floats on the water to keep all the food within it instead of all around the surface of the tank. I’ve noticed much less waste when I do that, and using this ring to feed the freeze-dried tubifex worms is a game changer. Once you sprinkle the freeze-dried food on the water surface, it spreads immediately to all corners. So I highly recommend using a feeder ring of some sort to keep the food contained when you put it in/on the water. My fish enjoy the occasional treat of freeze-dried tubifex worms, and I noticed their color gets a little more vibrant after a day or so. I like keeping my fish happy and healthy, so I plan to keep feeding this to them at least twice a week. This is a very large container, so I know it will last a while AND will stay fresh due to being freeze-dried.

100% freeze-dried tubifex worms with no fillers or additives
I have used tubifex worm cubes in various aquariums I have had over the years. I like them because they are easy to feed to the fish, they are high in protein, and the fish really love them. I simply press a tubifex cube against the aquarium glass below the water line and the zebra fish and neon tetras would go absolutely crazy in a feeding frenzy! This surprisingly large 3.5 oz jar contains a huge amount of cubes, which are actually individually very lightweight. They are appropriate for almost any kind of tropical or temperate fish and many amphibians as well. I like to use these as a special treat to supplement a regular diet. Simply break the cube apart, and sprinkle onto the water. I have never noticed that they foul the aquarium water. They are super nutritious, with a large percentage of protein. Since they are freeze dried, they will stay fresh for a very long time if they are stored properly in a cool, dry place. When my small outdoor pond warms in late spring, my goldfish (all raised from eggs) will be ravenous after over-wintering, sometimes under the ice. I will be using these freeze-dried tubifex cubes from JadingsFarm to supplement the food pellets I give them. The largest one is a solid black goldfish who loves pieces of earthworms I give him, so I know he will gobble up these as well.

different treats for my fish
I’ve tried a lot of different treats for my fish over the years, but this one has quickly become a favorite in my tank. The cubes are clean, lightweight, and easy to portion out, which makes feeding time simple. I like that they float well, so my bettas and goldfish can pick at them naturally without the food sinking too fast. The quality of the worms is excellent they’re not dusty or crumbly like some other brands I’ve bought. You can tell they’re properly freeze‑dried and high in protein, which is great for keeping fish active and healthy. My bettas go absolutely crazy for them, and even my more timid tropical fish come out to snack. I’ve also used them for my cichlids and turtles, and they all respond really well to these cubes. What I appreciate most is how versatile they are. You can drop the cubes in whole for larger fish, or easily break them apart for smaller ones. They rehydrate nicely if you prefer to soak them first, and they don’t cloud the water when used in moderation. The 3.5 oz container is a generous amount too it lasts a long time, especially since the cubes are so nutrient dense. Overall, this is a great treat to add variety to your pets’ diet. It’s clean, convenient, and clearly enjoyable for a wide range of fish and even turtles. I’ll definitely be buying this again.

Great tubifex cubes
I wa surprised at the size of this container. This is a very generous tub of freeze‑dried tubifex cubes, and the quality is solid. The cubes are lightweight, easy to portion, and they stay intact instead of turning dusty the way some cheaper brands do. My fish took to them quickly. I use them as a protein boost alongside regular pellets. They float at first, but like most freeze‑dried foods, they’ll eventually sink if left in the water too long. Breaking the cubes apart or using a feeding ring helps keep things contained and reduces waste. The nice thing is that they don’t cloud the water when used in moderation, and they rehydrate well if you prefer to soak them before feeding. The amount you get here will last a long time, especially since the cubes are nutrient‑dense and you don’t need many at a time. If you want an easy, high‑protein treat for your fish, this is a great option and a very good value for the size.

Great Treat For My Many Fish Tanks- They All Seem To Love Them
I have 8 fish tanks. In my bigger tanks, the fish get pretty hungry and enjoy pursuing something more challening.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in a hard plastic jar which has a foil seal on it. Once open, it seems to have good ability to keep the contents dry,HOW TO USEI take a cube of this and press it against the glass for about 20 seconds and the bubbles stop coming out. Then it sticks there and the fish go eat off of it. Sometimes it stays the entire time, sometimes it comes loose and floats on the surface.DO THE FISH LIKE IT?In the larger tanks, the fish all go nuts over these. Even the catfish and plecos love to eat off of it.HOW OFTEN?I give these about twice a month or so as I tend to feed the fish every few days- they stay healthier as they are in a natural style tank.TUBIFEX WORMS FOR SURE?These definitely appear to be tubifex worms and not black worms for some who might be concerned about that.THE BOTTOM LINEThe fish love these and they are easy to use.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. This makes a great treat for my fish. They all love them and enjoy eating off of them – even fish you would not expect enjoy them,
