Why my bottom liner didn’t fit the cage?

Please note that the bottom liner and bedding pee pads were sewing in 48″L x 24″W, therefore, we can only assemble the cage in the same size. When assembling, be sure to use the black connector to join the LONG-SIDE of the panels.

Is it a safe habitat for guinea pigs?

Yes, the metal panel has small grid spacing, there is no sharp edges. What’s more, we have a safty-fence net near the ramp that prevents the guinea pigs from falling and escaping.
