Great & quiet wheel
So let’s start off by saying no it wasn’t easy to assemble. It was annoying as hell but…..it’s great & quiet & definitely worth it. After having it for 5 months by gerbils started chewing on it tho. So now I gotta buy a new one. I’ll be buying the same one cause they freakin love running on this thing♡

INCORRECT HARDWARE
After spending way too long trying to assemble this, I discovered the included shoulder bolt is too short to actually secure the wheel. The design requires installing 20 individual slats one at a time between two frames, which is already frustrating, and then the provided hardware literally doesn’t reach. I had to go to a hardware store to buy a longer bolt just to make it usable. Instructions are poor and the assembly is unnecessarily difficult.Save yourself the headache and buy a pre-assembled wheel instead.

We bought one, unsure of how the hams would like it. Very sturdy, easy to assemble, just requires some strength and patience. We ended up buying a second so both hams have their own wheels now.

Good value for money
Good value for money, comes in small pieces and needs to be assembled. Pretty quiet but absolutely horrible to clean. Overall functional and I like that it’s mostly wood so the rodents are not ingesting plastic when they chew on it

i know this may not apply to others, but as someone who is not entirely physically able, this was insanely difficult to put together. like 30 mins time with help from others passing it around a circle level of unnecessarily difficult. this thing is like a puzzle, every slab is separated and it takes a lot of strength to get every piece in its place. on the contrary, my gerbils have no interest in a wheel no matter how hard i try so i’ve unfortunately got no input on its functionality! i’ll try switching it to my mouse enclosure and seeing if they have any interest, but i can already tell with how hard it was to initially put the thing together, it’s gonna be hell tryna clean it thoroughly with each individual piece, especially with how frequently mice leave droppings

Set up sucks lol, it doesn’t come out together which was expected but still dreadful. Takes about 10 mins give or take. Don’t know if I did it wrong or the hardware is just cheap but the wheel wobbles. Still usable

Really easy to put together, the wood doesn’t feel like it’s going to snap like some other lazer-cut stuff I’ve put together. They also feel really sturdy, and they’re very quiet.Overall worth the price, work great, and the 9inch size is perfect for my mice

Do not Purchase
Just dont purchase it. Save yourself from making this expense. Its hard to set up and in the end its not even well put together. Sizing and the making of the thing itself is awful. It seems like its uncomfortable for my hammy to even run on it. The speed of it is great but theres just so much that is wrong with it that its just something i’ll end up replacing in the end.
