A good habitat with a few flaws
Overall, I do like this enclosure. I like the space, as well as the storage options. However, there are quite a few things that are poor quality/concerning. Something not pictured: the magnet connection for the cabinet door. The instructions say to screw in with the “E” screws, but it does not work. At all. Cannot screw it in that way. Also, the lid that hinges is not flush with the habitat. Could be how I built it, but I screwed the hinges in exactly where the holes were. Could be concerning if you have other pets that may be able to find their way in through the gap, or the small animals themselves. The lid also did not stay open by itself like it should, when pushed all the way up. Also, I expected the lighting to be a little more advanced, but it is simply a light strip that comes with it. Installation included is haphazard at best, which makes me concerned for the light strip falling, so I glued/taped it to be more secure. Also, the exposed screw/bolt on the inside makes me concerned that my pets may chew on them and may be bad for their health. I also expected the drawer to be more advanced, but it just slides on top of the bare wood. Still, I was able to build this enclosure by myself over a few hours without any help or a lot of knowledge on building. I think if you don’t mind jimmying a few things yourself, this enclosure is a good choice, especially considering the light, drawer for ease of cleaning, and storage space.

Not suitable for hamsters
Overall good quality and easy assembly. NOT suitable for hamsters without extra precautions. Our Syrian hamster escaped the first night. ALL of the ventilation holes are way too big. You will need something to block all the holes, which kind of defeats the purpose of said ventilation. Better for larger critters, but then the overall tank size would probably be too small. We are keeping it and making it work, but I would not recommend this for a hamster.
