Excellent sponge filters!
These are great. I had to throw together a small emergency tank for a snail that was being stressed out by a new betta. I had mostly what I needed in storage, but I needed a filter sufficient for a 5g tank, and all mine were too much.I purchased this and attached it to the same air hose I was just running an air stone on waiting for this shipment. Dropped it into the tank and squeezed out my media from my established tank into it. It cleared the water and stabilized the temp in no time.Did NOT float. I squeezed a bunch of water into it and just dropped it in. It stays on the bottom with no need for anchoring with any of your hardscape. I even put the second one in my established tank in lieu of the airstone I had shoved into a piece of wood. It gives agitation AND extra filtration to my fish fam in the 10g.Very easy, fits perfectly in my 5g and 10g tanks, and is made of quality parts. Came with air line, and air stone already in place. YOU NEED YOUR OWN AIR PUMPS! Highly recommend these sponge filters!

FANTASTIC PRODUCT
This is a Great Buy. You get a filter and bubbler all in one piece. I don’t know how the smaller one is…but I bought the larger one for my 3 gallon cherry shrimp tank and with the tiny stone black gravel and a couple of real plants….It looks WONDERFUL, absolutely no noise and works GREAT!

Perfect for little tanks and has an air stone
These are perfect little filters for small (2-4 gallons) nano tanks!Happily it comes with a tiny air stone built in for fine bubbles.It fits into the aquarium in a compact way, and is super quiet.Will by these again.

Nice but needs a better diagram
I’ve only had this for about 3 weeks, but so far, so good. I haven’t tried cleaning it yet so I don’t know if it’ll be a pain in the ass or go smoothly. I saw a review about getting a dirty used product and thought about all the defective or used products I have gotten thru the mail/Amazon/WalMart.com. The size is perfect for my 10-gallon tank, although I only fill it about 75% full. The price was reasonable. I had to look back at the product description to see if I was installing it correctly, because there are NO directions, and the ‘diagram’ must have been in Chinese, too, but some of the parts were different than what was pictured. Hello Husband ……I need your help!

Much better than I expected!
These are better than I expected. They even came with a nice length of tubing for each sponge.I bought these to replace two worn out air stones and add supplemental filtration and they are doing a wonderful job. They are quite “bubbly” and help keep the water moving.They are weighted, and I have had no issues with them trying to float. I suspect that may happen in a very large tank.Pretty much anywhere you might use an air stone, this will most likely be a better option. They add the extra benefit of bio filter and you still get all the bubbles!

Great, small sponge filter. Fits nicely in my 3 gallon shrimp tank.
