Love it!
Works awesome! Definitely worth the price and we couldn’t be happier.We got this to replace the broken light on the top of my daughter’s 5 gallon. It was perfect. The suction cups attached to the hood nicely and are still on strong 24 hrs later. No signs of moving.I have an older hygger light on my 100 gallon. That one is a pain to setup and change the brightness, color, length, etc. Not this one!! They changed the design and the controls. The controller on this is SO-O-O easy to use!! I love it!! My 10yo daughter figured it out easily too and quickly changed my settings to her own.I know my other light is years old and this one appears to be made with the game great quality and longevity I’ve found in hygger products. We love this. Thank you!!Some things to note:-you will want to adjust the strength of the light so you don’t have an algae bloom if your tank isn’t used to such a bright light. Wonderful thing about this product is it’s fully adjustable.-this does have a morning and evening cycle that is amazing for slowly waking up a tank. No bright lights to startle them this way.

Good except the daylight cycle setting
Great light. Lots of options for colors and brightness.EXCEPT- the “daytime cycle” setting. It uses the time of day to display a color I.e. orange at dawn, white in the day, yellow at dusk, blue at night. Works as intended but DOES NOT allow for brightness adjustment. I find it overall too bright. Causing lots of algae growth and damage to live plant leaves. Sad because the day light cycle was why I picked this light.

Perfect for my 5 Gallon Tank
Great lighting for my betta, two guppies, otocinclus, two shrimp, snail, and frog in a 5 gallon tank(for now). I love the 24 hour mode timer. It goes through all phases of daylight during the amount of time I set it for and I don’t have to think about it all day.

Intense color enhancement!
I’m giving this light 5 stars because it functions well, and it really is bright at the highest setting, and it does make the colors of the fish pop. However in my opinion it really exaggerates reds. This includes on driftwood. I’m not sure what color LED does that but it’s a little much to me.That being said the suction cups hold well, even on the slightly curved lid I have for my tank. The built in LEDs on my aquariums hood pale in comparison to these. I’m sure the plants will really flourish with this light. When I added this light, for the first time my husband complimented my guppies and said “wow, I never noticed how pretty these are… they look like mini bettas!” And it’s true. The light really brings out all the color and iridescence of fish.I only really care for the white light setting. I hoped it might be possible to change the warmth of the lighting since there are various solid color settings but it’s not one of the features. The sunrise/sunset color is just orange, and it’s a little too intense in my opinion.Overall it’s a nice light. I wish I had another comparable light on the market to compare it against. I would wonder if they all bring out colors in a similar way or not…

Good full spectrum hue. No moon light function though
Edit no. 2: Come to find out I can’t even turn it to solid blue. I got a faulty unit. JFC why does everything have to suck these days?Edit: After fiddling with the 24/7 settings over and over again, there is no moon light. I have to start time at 6am and end time at 11pm,it never switches to blue moon light. Guess it’s faulty.. I remember when things worked as advertised.Good upgrade looks-wise over my stock Top Fin 37 gallon light. I took a Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel and cut the existing light supports EXCEPT for the ends where the stock light snapped into place. All I did to modify the end brackets on the lid was cut a notch in one for the new Hygger light’s cord to go in so the light would sit flush against that end. The 23in model fits absolutely perfect in that lid once you remove the old light’s bracing. I’m hoping the 24/7 mode works well. I haven’t been in fish keeping for about 20yrs and this is a decent alternative to the old purplish-hued fluorescent tube lights from back in the day that would make your fishes’ colors pop. I’ll post pics once the tank clears up

Perfect
This light is wonderful with a 24/7 feature where I don’t have to worry about light timing, ramping or setting colors. It’s perfect! One suction cup isn’t holding at all but the other is keeping the light attached to the hood. If it falls into the water, it’s submersible so no worries!

Absolutely love this light!!! Fits perfectly in the lid of the 15 gallon fluval flex 2.0 and is way nicer than the stock light. Easy to set up with the 24/7 timer. Just love it.

This is a great light, lots of features and very bright. The only issue and why I knocked off one star was that after about a week or so the suction cups release and it falls into the tank. I have to keep re mounting it. I also noticed that after being in the water for a few hours the lens on the inside had condensation in it. Not sure if it will hold up if it’s placed under water for a lpng period of time, but so far it’s been doing a good job at keeping my plants and fish happy.
