Good basic parakeet seed great price we add fresh vegetables and nuts fruit for a diet to keep birds happy and healthy

His favorite thing is that he can eat it easily
He has a beak problem. It grows very fast and is crooked. So it only has three weeks normally before he has to go to the veterinarian to get his beak cut back again. He has eating problems and can’t eat food that is outside parakeet sizes. It’s good that he is a Lovebird he can eat parakeet and finch food because it has the best selection of seeds for his species and he loves it. I do get him the treats for Lovebirds but not to much or he would eat treats alone. He loves the food I get him and this one is one of the best. It has the best selection of seeds and in the best balances of healthy quality.Thanks for a great daily meal. Well balanced and hearty he’s even gained his best weight ever. Now he’s a healthy little lovebird .

Not Only For Parakeets . . . .
I’ve had a crippled pigeon as a pet for a few years now. She had only recently gotten out of the nest, so I fed her only bird feed with tiny seeds. Later on, when I tried to feed her bird seed with milo, cracked corn, sunflower seeds in the shell, etc., she refused to eat anything bigger than the millet! I even got her some pigeon feed with pigeon peas, and she refused to eat the stuff. Thus, I gave up trying to get her to eat what a normal pigeon eats.She loves this Kaytee parakeet seed! The last time I got it, I decided to get a 25 pound bag, too, not just for her, but for my wild bird feeder outside. The usual mixed feed I have used for years now has too much milo and too little millet. Songbirds do not like milo! (Normal pigeons do, but there are none outside where I live.) Thus, I mix this seed in with lots of oil sunflower seeds and everyone is very happy. A 25 pound bag is reasonably priced here at Amazon, too.

Only seed he eats
Only seed my bird will eat. I have tried pellets but its a big fat no for him. I just add powdered vitamins and were good to go.

I love this grain mix with budgerigar
I added a budgerigar who loved the mixed grain food and the price was very reasonable in comparison. But the first time I received the package was broken and the grains were spilled. It is not an outer wrapping bag, but a commodity packaging bag. Contacted Amazon customer service and reshipped quickly. The packaging bag received the second time is still a little bit damaged. I think maybe the bag the manufacturer chose wasn’t tough enough. The packaging of this product is relatively fragile. It is recommended that the manufacturer update the product packaging bag. The one star missing is because of the item packaging. I will choose this brand of bird food again in the future

Best Delivery
I buy this product all the time for my parakeet. In the past, I would get the product and the bag would be ripped and there would be bird seed everything. This time, no ripped package. I was so surprised. My bird loves this stuff and so do I. There are no dyes in this feed so I feel good about giving it to my bird. Great shopping experience!

Great Improvement in Packaging Quality
Kaytee Supreme has always been a superior product, although I used to struggle with the packaging. In shipping, many of the packages would become damaged and leak in the box. However, CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SUPERIOR PACKAGING IMPROVEMENTS! The packaging is now as superior as the product! I have enjoyed seeing Kaytee Supreme arrive in excellent condition after shipping.
