    Wild rabbits love this!
Wild rabbits love this! Just the right combination of ingredients and percentage of each in the mix. Nothing goes to waste. Thankfully, squirrels don’t touch this feed–just the rabbits. Moreover, I do add the Kaytee Backyard Wildlife Food Blend into the feed mix for variety; the wild rabbits eat that all up, as well. Nice combination!

    Feeding Cottontails the Good Stuff!
We feed the pretty little cottontail bunnies in our neighborhood this lovely Timothy. It smells very fresh and fragrant, it even tastes good- yes, I chewed on a couple pellets and liked it. I put a cup out with veggie scraps, fruit and bowls of water. The coyotes don’t like it so they leave it alone. We live in a suburb where there are acres of golf courses, and the wildlife enjoys the buffet we put out for them. Everyone’s happy!🐇🐺

    Excellent Value.
Our rabbit finds this product highly satisfactory, and its generous size represents a significant value proposition compared to the higher pricing typically found at local retailers.

    No complaints from my rabbit
The main ingredient is Timothy Hay which is often difficult to find at a good price point. I work at a veterinary hospital and I strongly recommend this food for rabbits over the age of one

    Alfalfa Free & Tasty . . . .
Many rabbit pellets are made with alfalfa, even though alfalfa is considered fattening, with too much calcium, for adult rabbits. This is alfalfa free and my bunny loves it. Pellets are only a small part of her diet, though, so I find myself looking for good pellets, but not “perfect” ones, if there is such a thing. These are good enough, and very often nicely priced here at Amazon. Since there is no current listing of ingredients on this page, I’ll list them at the end of this review. Remember, though, pet food ingredients can change, so always check a new bag of food to see if there has been a change that might change your mind about buying it again.Ingredients:Sun-cured Timothy Grass Hay, Oat Hulls, Wheat Middlings, Dehulled Soybean Meal, Ground Wheat, Dried Cane Molasses, Ground Flax Seed, Salt, DL-Methionine, Dicalcium Phosphate, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Vitamin A Supplement, Choline Chloride, Mixed Tocopherols (preservative), Ferrous Sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Zinc Oxide, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Copper Sulfate, Niacin, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of Vitamin K activity), Rosemary Extract, Citric Acid, Cholecalciferol (source of Vitamin D3), Calcium Pantothenate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid, Calcium Iodate, Biotin, Cobalt Carbonate, Sodium Selenite, Dried Aspergillus oryzae Fermentation Extract (source of Protease), Dried Bacillus licheniformis Fermentation Product, Dried Bacillus subtilis Fermentation ProductGuaranteed Analysis:Crude Protein (min.) 13.0%Crude Fat (min.) .1.5%Crude Fiber (min.) .20.0%Crude Fiber (max.) .25.0%Moisture (max.).12.0%Calcium (min.) 0.25%Calcium (max.) 0.75%

Good ingredient composition, but my bunny isn’t sold on it.
This is a tough review because my bun does not care for this food, but I know it is a good product. I did a bunch of research and this had the best protein/fiber content of any other rabbit food available on Amazon. Although it wasn’t recommended by the Rabbit House Society, the contents were so close to approved pellets that I bought it.But…my bun is having a hard time transitioning from her Purina Fiber 3 pellets. In fact, she refused to eat these for three days and only ate lettuce and hay, so I had to go buy another bag of Purina. I’ve mixed the two and she will eventually eat the Kaytee, but she picks out the Purina pellets first and eats the Kaytee the next morning.I’m gonna see if she eventually will make the switch. I have contacted Kaytee in the past about their Rainbow pellets and their customer service is outstanding! They had me send in a sample of the food that my bun suddenly didn’t want to eat (I thought something was wrong with the new bag of food) and they tested it in the lab and tested it with their test bunnies and send me back a detailed report. So I trust Kaytee 100%.

    My rabbit loves them
I buy this for my rabbit on regular basis so I think at least 3 times now. It’s the best pellets I’ve found that are not full of dust and pellets are a great size not broken and sealed with a fresh seal.

There are very few pellet foods that are Timothy hay based and do not include alfalfa hay in the ingredients. This is one of the best options for a rabbit over 6 months old. It is the cheapest I have found.
