Cockatiels love it!
My cockatiels just love this product. They sit in happily chew on it and it is a much better alternative than a straight cuddle bone. I love that it has a lot of natural minerals and my birds seem to love the taste and it keeps them busy. A great foraging type item to add to their cage.

Parrots don’t chew on fish bones in the wild. They do however visit clay deposits on the banks of the river for their minerals. So this is a much more natural way for your bird to help themselves to the minerals they need.

One of my cockatiels is a female who lays lots of eggs, so it makes me feel good to know that I’m providing this for her! I think — from the look of it — it must contain a good amount of calcium. But ask your vet about this, because I’m not sure. I also provide my birds with plenty of cuttlebone, as well.

Much smaller than expected
This mineral block is very soft. It can be broken with your hand. It seems to have a good flavor but it’s very small and they use wires as the attachment. It would not last with my Macaw or Indian Ringneck so I gave it to my budgie.

3 parakeets destroyed in 2 days
Not worth the money! I bought this because my birds liked the previous one; I was disappointed that it didn’t last even a week! It’s construction was different too in that the birds literally chewed it up. I went to see what the sound was I’d heard and found the bolt on the cage floor with a small nub left of the block as well. Would not recommend.

Wow, my English Budgies demoed this in a day !
Size of this mineral block is small. My birds loved it right away and turned it to dust. So I have to say that I rate it high in entertainment value, but low in $$$ value. Expensive for the size and ease of destruction.

My cockatiels
Absolutely love this. It last no more than 3-4 days and I only have 3 cockatiels. So here I am once again buying more. They are in an outdoor aviary and the oldest “Ba” is 14/15. Proud of momma Ba.

The Maui. Cuttle bone
My African Grey loves this nutrious treat. Wish it were bigger an a different holder instead of the little bread twist wire. All in all came as expected my bird loves it an all is good.
