Good for parakeets
If I could give these pellets more stars I would. I have some very picky parakeets who are both around 7 years old. After a recent bought of constipation, I decided they had no choice anymore, that they had to eat something else besides seeds. Every previous attempt at changing their diet failed. They would either start fighting each other competing for any seed I’d give or they would just outright stop eating and I thought they would die of starvation. With these pellets, I didn’t have too much hope seeing my previous track record, but somehow they ended up trying these pellets and now I’m seeing empty dishes! They like them! They are of a very good size for parakeets and look like their other seeds. They have a good healthy smell too, and they appear of good quality. I am very glad I found these pellets, thank you!

Great for budgies
These are the perfect pellets for my budgies. They won’t touch any of the other brands I’ve tried. They still prefer seeds, but I’d rather they eat a few of these than all seeds.

Healthy bird Isa happy bird
I have 2 parakeets which I switched to this brand. It took them some time for them to adjust but it was worth the effort. Not only is this a healthier food but the switch was well worth it. There isno messy hulls to clean up. The bird area stays so much cleaner and that means less work for me

Received expired product. Pellets are small.
I give it 3 stars because they sent an expired item. I purchased January 15th,2026 and it expired Oct.10,2025. It appeared ok and smelled ok, so I decided to keep it. I’m disappointed though. Still my bird (parakeet) likes it and eats it. It seems like a nutritious product. Pellets are healthier than seeds. He wouldnt eat another pellet I got for him because it was too big (pictured on top in photo.) These are small pellets (on the bottom in the photo) and mix right In with his seeds. I’ll post pictures for comparison. .

Weeks of trying to convert budgie to Pellets, Solved on first day!
we were trying to convert our parakeet from seed to pellets for the last 5 weeks. since she ended up in the hospital. it seemed like it was never going to happen. she would pick them up, put them down, pull them out of a bowl. throw them on the cage floor and then forge the rest of the day. I ordered these tiny pellets and she started eating them from the first day. Some of the issue might have been the pellet size. These are tiny, compared to the Zupreem small bird pellets.So in one day, after 5+ weeks of meticulous measuring and changing seed to pellet ratio, and weighing her to make sure she maintains weight, our concerns about switching her over to pellet food to improve her fatty liver were eliminated. This food has 5% fat, which is excellent. She will continue to get small percentage of seed, but Veruca’s days of have a full bowl of seed all the time are over. BOTTOM LINE: If you are having difficulty converting your budgie to pellets, try this stuff.

I am trying to get my budgies off seeds but it is a trying situation. I thought my youngest was eating it which made me very happy until I saw it on the floor. The next day she dumped the seed cup on the floor of her cage. I have tried it in my other cage where there are 4 budgies. Someone is eating it. They did not throw it out of the cup. I’m very persistent, so it will take some time but I’m sure they will all come around.
