Absolutely the best I’ve ever used
best nail clippers I’ve ever used. they are very sharp and don’t mash the dogs toenail when you cut it and you can see how much nail your cutting off. their design lets you see exactly how much nail you’ll be cutting off and their sharpness snips it off clean without mashing the toenail and leaving it rough and the sharpness makes it more comfortable for your dog. only dog nail clippers I’ll ever buy.

They don’t crush the nails, cleanly cuts right thru, with very minimal noise.
A groomer friend of mine has always used these. We worked together and she urged me to just try them. I had been a vet tech for 12 yrs prior to my learning to groom. So, I tried them on a shitzu, we’re great, started thinking, let’s try a harder type nail, I tried em out on a basset hound absolutely fell in love, but before I’m gonna shell out big bucks, I’m gonna give em the test. At the time we groomed a 240lb. Great Pyrenese. I was amazed. They are so easy to use, to hold, and you don’t have to squeeze the handles hard at all. Plus for me I’m a weakling. About all those bucks, I groom about 25-30 babies a week, cats too. That’s roughly 240-300 nails trimmed a week. I have bought 2 pair in 13 yrs. I have never paid more than $7 and see em around mostly for bout $5-6. They are sharp, safe, very easy to use, and I would Def recommend for 1st time nail trimming dog owners. I hope they never change them, they work way to well. They may look chintzy, hands down best out there, they last forever. Thanks Miller Forge

Incredible price and Excellent product
My dog hates getting his nails clipped by me. Almost every nail clipper that I’ve gotten have pinched his nail slightly crushing before cutting through cleanly. Even ones marketed as high grade professional nail clippers have done this. I think the crushing is due to the fact that he has very soft nails With these cllippers, I think I can actually get my dog to be comfortable or at least less fussy about getting his nails clipped!I found tons of recommendations for the Millers forge brand of clippers, and even the vet and groomer recommended them. First, let me say that these required almost no effort to clip my dogs nails. I was able to get my dogs nails clipped in 15 minutes, which is the fastest I’ve ever been able to do this. He didn’t once cry out in pain as if I were killing him, nor did he retract his paw as hard as he could from my grasp. I didn’t have to do a sharp and quick cut to get these to close, as I have done with many other brands. Instead these just glided right through the nail, and were incredibly precise so that I was able to clip in small sections. It was almost like shaving off his nail just a little bit. Because the clippers clipped of his nail so cleanly I was able to see that the discarded nail anatomy – hard shell and a fleshy inside. The fleshy inside of his nail just crumbles when it falls out of the hard shell, and so I think this is why previous nail clippers were crushing his nail.Speaking from a physics perspective, I can see these clippers lasting quite a long time and remaining sharp. The design on the blade of the clipper is angled sharply into a thin blade (and it is a very sharp blade). The blades make no noise as they are closed and opened, though I can feel the blades brush against one another. The spring that opens the clippers also makes no noise, and I believe this is because they use a volute spring which I’m also not afraid of getting pinched by.The only issue with the clippers is that the red comfort grip covers slide off while I clip. This isn’t a big deal though as they don’t slide off much and it didn’t make a difference in how the clippers performed.For people who are wondering if these are real Millers Forge Inc clippers, they are. Only the larger Miller’s Forge nail clippers are made in Italy (specifically the 727C and 767C styled for larger dogs). I would only recommend these for medium to small dogs. All other Miller’s forge nail clippers are made in other places -such as Japan and Taiwan. These 743C clipers are made in Taiwan, and do come with the Miller’s Forge lifetime guarantee against manufacturing or worksmanship defects unless abused or left to rust (as stated on the back of the packaging).

Great clippers with one minor flaw
I don’t typically write a product review after only one use, but this one made a good enough impression that I felt it was warranted. Also, this is my first time cutting my dog’s nails.Overall, these are great clippers and easy to use. I have a Bernese Mountain Dog with dew claws that don’t need to be removed so they get sharp because there’s no way for her to wear them down outside. She likes giving hugs so you can imagine how painful that can be. Anyway, these cut the tips off very easily. The ends are a little rough, which is to be expected, but you could always file them if you wanted.The one negative is that the guard that prevents you from cutting into the quick is very loose. You end up having to hold the guard in place with your fingers while cutting.I still would recommend these. Good price and otherwise easy to use.

Heavy Duty Nail Clipper great for thick nails
This is very much a heavy duty nail clipper that works great on my dog with very thick nails. Cut clean and easily through the nail.

Fantastic clippers. Super sharp and cuts through nails without much pressure. Only issue is that the rubber grips can sometimes slip a little but not enough of an issue to put me off.

Best clippers I’ve used.These clippers are very lightweight but so sharp. My other set of clippers bought from a pet shop made a crunching sound when cutting and left the nail rough and splintered. These clippers cut easily and are so sharp and pricise, leaving the nail cut perfectly. I can easily cut my puppies nails weekly now with no complaints from him.

Meilleur coupe griffes pour animaux ! Permet de faire une coupe nette sans trop appuyer sur la griffe, ce qui facilite l’acceptation par l’animal qui a moins de sensations désagréables. Il y a tout de même besoin d’une bonne désensibilisation avant de couper, mais comme pour toute nouveauté.
