Recommended Fish
For a 2.5 gallon fish tank, we suggest raising 5-6 small fish between 1-2 inches in length. Zebra Danios are highly recommended, because they are incredibly hardy and tolerate a wide range of temperatures, making them excellent fish for beginners and newly set up aquariums.

Worth the purchase! I love this fish tank.
This is the perfect tank for my fish and I absolutely love the look of it! Totally worth the purchase and my fishie and my little snail ate so happy in this tank. My fishie is way more active, friendly, and comes out to say hi every time I come check in on him and my snail. The filter functions well but is not the best filter but it doesn’t matter if you have live plants because the plants keep the water crystal clear and calls for way less water changes. I highly recommend this tank and to get some live plants to put in it as well! Also the lid for the opening isn’t the best but I found a lid to a jar that fits like a glove. The circular lid is a random piece of plastic. I recommend finding a different covering for the top of the tank. The lid on the tank is what I put that fit perfect the circle plastic is what came with the tank and I didn’t like it and got lucky and found the jar lid that fits like a glove. That would be my only issue because other thank that, this tank is perfect for my fishie, snail and myself!

This is such a cute little kit and got me really into this hobby now. I felt so bad for my daughter who wanted a pet but I’m allergic to the furry ones. She got so excited about it. We started out with this-good kit for a beginner. Snug lid, openings for tubing and hang on filter, very clear. Now using as a terrarium

Best Starting Setup Money Can Buy!
This kit is amazing for the price. The tank is great quality and crystal clear. It has the absorption and balancing pad adhered to the bottom which is convenient. Super cool little filter too. I don’t use carbon with my tanks so instead I filled as much biomedia in there that I could along with the cartridge filter. Very quiet and no issues with it although I do wonder if it’s cycling enough water. I mounted it on the short end so I don’t know if it’s leaving dead pockets on the other side. This is just a planted tank currently so no biggie if so. The light is my only complaint. It runs super hot and is pretty weak overall. I don’t think it’s capable of providing the lighting plants need. There’s so many quality lights for super cheap on Amazon so it’s null. All in all this can’t be beat for the price however. For any of you considering this as your startup or a gift for someone this holiday season (that’s deserving of a $60 setup), do it.

Awesome nano aquarium for Betta.
Excellent betta nano aquarium easy set up and the lid has two notches cut out for airline to set up an air stone and to place a heater on the other notch. Plenty of room for decorations and for the betta to swim in fits perfectly on my night stand. Excellent quality easy set up. Good beginner aquarium for someone looking to get into the hobby.

Personally I find this to be overall a very, well made, nano tank. It comes with a filter and a light, I did personally swap to a small sponge filter, but the filter it comes with works just fine, and you can adjust the flow. It does not come with a heater, so you need to purchase one separate. The light is fine for most of the basic easy plants.I really like that the tank has a black tinted background, and it overall feels really well made. It does have a lid with this flat plastic disk cover. I added a wooden knob that I painted black to it to make it easier to grab. I will probably be stocking it with some fancy shrimp.

Great product, great value!
This tank is really good quality with crystal clear glass that is thick and sturdy. Filter and light work great and all fit well. Really good design. My only complaint would be that the cover is a little flimsy and doesn’t close very securely. The hole cover in the center is even more loose. It just kind of sits on top and can slide off very easily as there is nothing, not even a groove to hold it in place but all in all, still a great product and great value!

Unpacking this product from the box was so satisfying! There was no flaws at all. It’s heavy duty compared to other 2.5 gallon tanks. Easy and obviously simple set up. The filter is very smooth and quiet. My tank cycling at the moment, can’t wait to add guppies and shrimp

Don’t even hesitate. This tank is awesome! My little betta guy loves the upgrade with all the extra space. The design of the tank is sleek with nice quality glass and a cool black background. Super quiet filter with adjustable water flow. Took 5 minutes to set up. Just make sure you pour water into filter chamber to activate the flow once assembled on side of tank. Also, water level in tank should be quite high to keep filter working efficiently.

I bought this small aquarium for a betta fish. Overall, the build quality, glass clarity, and design are very good, and it arrived well packaged. The light and included equipment are also decent for the price.The only issue is with the tank lid. There is a feeding hole on the lid, which comes with a small round cover, but unfortunately the cover is smaller than the hole and doesn’t fully seal it. Because of this, the opening is not completely closed, which could be a concern for a betta tank.Overall, it’s a good aquarium, but fixing this small design flaw would make it much better.

Best price for the size of glass nano tank with filter & light. I bought all accessories separately: 25w heater, substrate, live plants, breeding box. I put 3 female & 1 male guppies. Female were already pregnant & started giving live birth on 3rd day! Hence, the small breeding box… this 2.5 gallon nano tank is perfect for office desk. Very good for mental health while working. Very quiet filter. LED Light is perfect for live aquarium plants. Must buy: long tongs & small fish net.Aquarium store sells tank only without light & filter for double the price!
