Good for Syrian hamsters
Perfect size for larger Syrian hamsters . My Ollie is a long hamster and I struggled to find him a house big enough. This house is perfect he loves it ! Every Niteangel product I have purchased is good quality .

Sturdy and just the right size for my dwarf hamster Gimli. He was so excited when I put it in his cage — Gimli kept running in and out, checking out his new digs! And I love that there was no assembly required!

Great sleeping box for hamsters!
Both of my hamsters love these boxes & spend most of their day sleeping in them. I have a small & a large Syrian & both appear to fit comfortably in the back section of their boxes. I am impressed with how well the box is made, and like that it has a separate lid that makes it easier to work with during cage cleaning. The only complaint (kidding) I can give is they love the boxes so much that I might actually see less of them than I otherwise would!

Finally a hamster house they actually use
This is honestly the first house I’ve been able to get a hamster to consistently use. We have a larger breed hamster, and there’s plenty of room for him to come and go comfortably and still bury himself to sleep.I also love that it’s made of wood. Our hamster doesn’t chew on it, but I prefer natural materials over plastic just in case. It fits well in the cage and has been a great addition to his setup.

Mostly good but fragile corners
Had to return the first for being damaged beyond repair. This second one was still broken, see picture. Overall another good product from Niteangel minus this issue. Wish it would come with a base for glass cages. The roof overhangs the sides a bit not allowing it to sit flush in corners.

Hamster Must Have for Clean Cages
I decided to buy this for my hamster after reading another reviewer mention how their hamster used one side for sleeping and one side for the bathroom (since their hamster didn’t like to leave his hiding area during the day). I remembered a past hamster I had who would pee in her hiding area for the same reason. So, I purchased this and my current hamster sleeps on one side and uses the other as his litter box. It is wonderful that I don’t have to dismantle his nest in order to clean up urine spots. It is very easy to just clean out the side he uses as a litter box every other day, and go a week or so between full cage changes since the rest of the cage stays pretty clean!FYI, the lid is not connected to the box- but there are two little bumps which help hold it in place where you want it. I like to leave the lid lightly askew (but still sturdy in place) in order to vent the litter box side of the box, so it doesn’t vent thru his “bedroom.” I appreciate the flexibility to do this. (You can view how I have the lid slightly askew in my photo, the hiding box is partially hidden as I have it placed underneath the second floor of my hamsters cage.)Keep in mind it is large and can take up decent space in your cage, but if you have the minimum recommended cage size for a Syrian hamster it works. I highly recommend this product in order to potentially greatly improve the cleanliness of your hamster and their cage!

Maison de taille idéale pour mon hamster russe. 2 chambres dont une bien à l’abri. Toit qui peut s’enlever facilement pour voir l’intérieur de la maison au besoin. Beau bois.
