About Omega One
In 1998 in Sitka, Alaska, two brothers invented and patented the process of making fish foods directly from wild-caught, fresh Alaskan seafood. Omega One LLC, the company, was founded, and Omega One, the brand, was introduced. This revolutionary concept broke the mold in a 40-year industry, providing hobbyists with a brand of unsurpassed quality and nutrition. Unlike other fish foods on the market, you will see that there is no fishmeal in our foods. Instead, we use Alaskan seafood such as salmon, herring, and shrimp for our protein sources. These ingredients, rich in natural fats and proteins, are purchased direct from sustainable Alaskan fisheries.

From the Sea to the Shelf

THE INGREDIENTS MATTER
Omega One increases fish immunity. It is made directly from superfoods like salmon and herring, which are loaded with Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. These essential fatty acids provide energy and strengthen the delicate fish immune system, leading to decreased rates of disease and mortality.

MEAL-FREE NUTRITION
Omega One fish foods are meal-free and made from the freshest cold-water proteins. When you start with raw, unprocessed proteins like we do and cook them just once, they naturally bind together creating an impenetrable bond, leaving your aquarium cleaner.

NATURAL COLOR ENHANCEMENT
Our ingredients contain a high level of naturally occurring pigments called beta-carotenes. With nearly a 100% transfer rate to the skin of ornamental fish, these beta-carotenes will restore the true colors of your fish, making them as vibrant as they are healthy.

Freshwater Flakes
Delicious recipe of fresh, cold water seafood blended specifically to enhance the levels of Omega 6 fatty acids. Omega 6 fatty acids are extremely valuable to freshwater species for strong immune systems and cell wall development. Low ash and higher quality proteins mean less pollution in the tank.

Super Color Cichlid Pellets – Floating
Small, medium, and large pellets for all types and sizes of cichlids. Offer superb color enhancement, with unsurpassed nutrition and palatability.

Garlic Marine Flakes
A nutritious mix of seafood ingredients is combined with the optimal amount of spirulina to make this an excellent diet for the community saltwater tank. A strong Omega 3 Fatty Acid profile supports the delicate immune systems of saltwater fish while garlic provides incredible palatability and parasite resistance.

Goldfish Flakes
Omega One Goldfish Flakes are formulated with higher levels of quality proteins and fats than other goldfish foods. This recipe contains a strong Omega Fatty Acid profile, which has been shown to be beneficial for growth and long-term health. Fresh ocean kelp provides critical nutrients and aids in digestion.

New Goldfish Food
This food seems great for my larger goldfish. Noticed their color is getting better now that I have fed it to them for about a month. Sinks quickly. They sink much faster than the other “sinking” pellets you get from other brands. They have been keeping the water clean too.The medium pellet size is good for both my small (about 5 inch) and large (about 12 inches) goldfish. Love that it comes in bulk-sized containers.

No clouding of water
Have bought this product twice now. My fish love it and it doesn’t cloud up the tank water

Great food for XLG Fancies
Great for my XLG Fancies. I was afraid they would be different in size and quality because it’s in bulk but they’re exactly the same. Pellets are great size for large fish and sink at the right speed for enticing the fish. And they love the taste. Only problem is my Pleco has become possessive of the food. I’ll have to consult a Pleco shrink on that one.

Customer service does not back up their products as promised!
I rarely write a negative review, but after originally contacting the company that makes Omega One, I never heard back. I have used the product for years and never had the problem of it not sinking. But this patch didn’t sink. After many attempts since June 4th to contact Alex who originally responded, he refuses to respond anymore. No explanation for the lack of responding to my concern. He original response: “We take the quality of our products, and the concerns our customers very seriously. Although every one of our products must pass strict quality control guidelines before leaving our facility, I want to make sure your issues are fully addressed. If you could please supply the following information….” Really? He didn’t even comply with his own words even after I sent the info requested. The product itself is good if you want floating food (but expensive). But I paid for sinking food for my smaller koi. I am switching to Microbe-Lift sinking pellets due to the lack of customer service from this company!!!

Good deal!
Good product, thought this would last me forever yet ill be buying this one again in about a month. Though it did last about 4-5 months.

Good product for the price and the fish agree!
Replaced another brand with was no longer being produced.Fish adjusted fine within day or two.Minimal smell, which is good for me. Don’t know how it affects the fish’s preference for it.Sold as a sinking pellet, but the vast majority of the pellets float. To get the pellets down to the bottom feeders before the filtration system skims them all off, I place the pellets in a small jar with tank water and swirl them around for a few moments. This knocks off the surface tension/oil of the pellets and they go straight to the bottom.

My fish love this and they tend to be picky eaters
