About Omega One

In 1998 in Sitka, Alaska, two brothers invented and patented the process of making fish foods directly from wild-caught, fresh Alaskan seafood. Omega One LLC, the company, was founded, and Omega One, the brand, was introduced. This revolutionary concept broke the mold in a 40-year industry, providing hobbyists with a brand of unsurpassed quality and nutrition. Unlike other fish foods on the market, you will see that there is no fishmeal in our foods. Instead, we use Alaskan seafood such as salmon, herring, and shrimp for our protein sources. These ingredients, rich in natural fats and proteins, are purchased direct from sustainable Alaskan fisheries.

THE INGREDIENTS MATTER

Omega One increases fish immunity. It is made directly from superfoods like salmon and herring, which are loaded with Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. These essential fatty acids provide energy and strengthen the delicate fish immune system, leading to decreased rates of disease and mortality.

MEAL-FREE NUTRITION

Omega One fish foods are meal-free and made from the freshest cold-water proteins. When you start with raw, unprocessed proteins like we do and cook them just once, they naturally bind together creating an impenetrable bond, leaving your aquarium cleaner.

NATURAL COLOR ENHANCEMENT

Our ingredients contain a high level of naturally occurring pigments called beta-carotenes. With nearly a 100% transfer rate to the skin of ornamental fish, these beta-carotenes will restore the true colors of your fish, making them as vibrant as they are healthy.

    Good quality
My fish seem to enjoy this food, and it must be healthy as well because they are doing well. The smell is fishy, but I don’t mind it. They’re small pellets, perfect for inch sized goldfish. I feel like it was a good value for my money.

    Best fish food
I used to buy floating pellets for my fish and I was kind of bummed when these were the kind that sank but it was a blessing in disguise. Because they sink the fish are always scouring the gravel for food and therefore they keep the tank cleaner. These will not make your water funky and the fish love them, this was my #rd order of the big bucket and it’s my new go to for goldfish food

    Great food!
When you smell this food you know it is made of quality ingredients. No sawdust in here. I would feed it to ever fish i owed if it wasn’t so expensive.

    All my goldfish love them
I have a variety of goldfish. Butterfly Koi, Shubunkins, Sarasa and Comets in my pond. All love these small sinking pellets. They all seem to prefer them to the Koi pellets which I still feed them. Some goldfish are mid level feeders and don’t like the floating food so I give them both. They all work on sinking pieces that make it to the bottom. As you can see my pond water is clear. I do not overfeed. Feed what can eat between 3-5 minutes daily. I use beneficial bacteria weekly and have a large aerator which is a must for pond owners even if you have a waterfall or fountain.

These pellets are really small compared to medium. About …
These pellets are really small compared to medium. About the size of bottom feeder food. Plus these sink immediately. Medium sinks and floats.

    Great size for young goldfish
My goldfish fry and about 3-4 month old now and this a great size pellet to transition them off the brine shrimp. They took right too. Presently using to feed about 80 fry, so this larger size too is great. for my larger fish I use the same pellets as well but the larger size. I would still recommend feeding this along with other foods such as real vegetables if you are raising goldfish.
