Very Bright & Good Color Quality
Awesome light! A little pricier compared to some others but totally worth the couple extra bucks. It’s really easy to use and the 24/7 feature is nice. All I have to do is hold down the button on the controller and then set the current time. There’s 12 hours and then another “PM” light indicator so it wasn’t that hard to figure out how to set it. I don’t use remote controls so the controller on the cord is just fine. Doesn’t make any noise like some lights have. The suction cups come loose sometimes but overall Im happy with it.

This light has been working beautifully for me with no issues. And for the price?! I’d definitely buy again! All the colors are so pretty, but I have it set to 24 hour mode. My plants have grown nicely, and I really appreciate having a natural day/night cycle in my tank. My only issue has been with my 20 gallon tank lid that, due to this lid’s specific design, did not allow the light to be secured onto it the way that it’s supposed to be. I’ve had to gorilla glue it on twice to get it to properly stay. The first time I glued it on it lasted about 2 months before falling off again. This last time I added extra glue and held it down for a while until the glue was completely dried and the light was stuck well onto the lid. Haven’t had any issues then and hope it stays that way. When it fell off the first time, the light stayed in the water until I realized (I have a tank with lots of plants and floating plants at the top, so I didn’t notice immediately) and there were 0 issues. I’m planning on buying different sizes for my different tanks when I can 🙂

Almost perfect, works great, but it flickers at low settings.
Would have made 5 stars, but all the colors or loads flicker at lower settings. For example if I want it to be low light at night, I can’t or it flickers and drives me nuts. The plants seem to like the light and grow well with them. The remote and offered day, night, or 24-hour lighting is super versatile and fantastic for my little tank. It is light weight and holds up easily on my 3D printer light holder for my little tank! The cord length is super convenient from the light to the remote, and from the remote to the plug. The diverse functionality of the lighting and modes, is super cool, versatile and gives lots of options.

I don’t usually do reviews, if you are at odds on want you want for an aquarium light, this is it!!I love the automatic 24/7 light function. It was easy to set up. The lighting is fantastic. Dawn to dusk timer is so cool!! My plant growth is excellent and are getting babies on the leaves. They are green and beautiful. Excellent value for the money.

Worth the price
This light was a lifesaver! I bought a startup 10 gallon tank that came with a light and it didn’t really light the tank up so I bought this strip as a replacement and it didn’t really light not disappoint! Definitely recommend and the Velcro strips worked perfectly.

Defective Suction Cups -2 stars
This is my second purchase of this light, because the first worked so well. The light works perfectly, but these suction cups do not stick to the aquarium glass. My first light has never had a problem staying in place, but this new one immediately looses the suction as soon as I let go, even though it’s the exact same light and tank model (Fluval) with the light placed in the same location as the other tank. It also comes with sticky tapes, but they don’t match the placement angle of the other tank. I also need to remove light for cleaning, which I could not do with the tapes. There is no contact info on the company website.Manufacturer: Please tell me how to get suction cups that work.

It smoothly changes from sunrise → daylight → sunset → moonlight, so the tank looks natural and my fish are noticeably calmer compared to a basic on/off light. No sudden shock when the light turns on anymore.The colors are vibrant but not harsh. The white spectrum shows true plant colors, while the blue/red/green LEDs make the tank pop in the evening. You can also pick a single color effect if you just want a relaxing night view.Brightness control actually works properly — it’s not just 2-3 steps like many cheap lights. The white LED light attached under the cover of my 20-gallon Top Fin LED Bubble Wall Aquarium Kit is too bright. Whenever I turn it on the fish scramble for somewhere to hide and don’t come out until I turn it off. Because of this, I rarely turn it on and if I do it’s just for a short time. I noticed that because of this the plants are not growing as they should and my fish are always in the dark.I replaced the light with the Pawfly 20-inch 24/7 full spectrum LED light and I am very glad I did. I removed the old light under the cover attached the new one using the suction cups provided. I just love the 24/7 mode feature which is very easy to use. Just set the time and push the 24/7 mode button, and you’re all set. It automatically turns on at 6 am, does its color changing cycle and light adjustments to replicate actual daytime and nighttime lights, then turns off at 10 pm. I didn’t even bother to fiddle with the other settings. It has only been 2 days since I’ve used it, and I really hope this product lasts a long time.Now my glass catfish, neon tetras and cherry shrimps are happy I can actually see them smiling.

The light works great. The changing light colour through the day – sunrise, daylight, sunset, moonlight, dark – is really cool. But neither the suction cups or the Velcro hold it in place for more than a day. I McGyvered a solution using black zip ties and drilling small holes in my canopy.
