It’s perfect!
Awesome!! It arrived much earlier than expected, and it works so well! It works exactly like the Furminator my mom bought for her German shepherd, but I got this one for my cat because it was much more affordable.My cat is medium-long haired and his adult fur is coming in thicker and fluffier, I purchased this because I discovered the hair around his neck was developing a clump, and of course because he hair is all over my apartment! After only one use, he looks much less puffy and when I pet him now his loose hair doesn’t immediately stick to me.I recommend not using too much pressure as it might be painful for the animal. My German shepherd loves the pressure but my cat has more sensitive skin so using a lot of pressure is not really necessary. I’ve noticed that if I use too much force, he squirms a bit and appears uncomfortable.Overall, I definitely recommend this product! It’s so affordable and works amazingly well!

Great for shorthair cats. Just the right size. It’s a good shedder brush and gets to the undercoat. The cat loved it. It arrived quickly and I just had to click in the attachment.

Have to hold at an angle
Once I finally figured out that holding the brush with the handle straight up was the best way to brush and actually get that undercoat, this has been the greatest brush for my shorthaired cats.This brush is not abrasive to their skin, it actually gets to the undercoat. My cats all love to be brushed now. They always have to smell it first and then they just enjoy the brushing. I would recommend brushing outside or in an area what the hair isn’t flying all over the house. Because brushing cats can release a lot of stray fur in the air.But this brush works perfectly. Prefer it over any other brush I’ve tried for my cats, on the market nowadays.

Amazing for short hair dogs!
omg this brush is amazing! I was skeptical about getting it originally because I have two short hair dogs and things I’ve tried in the past has always either caused skin irritation or has caused them pain or just wouldn’t do much of actually getting the loose hair out. but I figured I would give this a try since their dog hair is starting to take over my home. As soon as the package I arrived I opened it eager to try it out. I tried it on my pitbull first. she had super sensitive skin so I was thinking i would have to stop doing it immediately like all other things I’ve tried in the past, but I was wrong. She wasn’t in any pain at all she let me sit there and do it and didn’t even flinch her skin didn’t even go red, get swollen or get a rash like other items did to her. I got all this hair off of her after only 5 minutes of brushing her. She eventually got bored of me doing this and went and laid down so then I went to my second dog which is a 4 lb short hair chihuahua I was kind of concerned as well that it might hurt him since his hair is so much thinner than my pitbull. Well he is a big cry baby and yelps over everything and is literally scared of everything so when I got him over to me he was scared at first which again is normal but he allowed me to brush out his hair. it didn’t hurt him at all he didn’t make a single noise even with him being timid he took it like a champ lol, I was able to pet him afterwards and not have any hair at all on me usually after petting him my hand looks like I’m trying up be the next bigfoot covered in hair. Also he didny have any red marks or irritation to his skin either. I will definitely be buying more of these, this by far is the best shedding tool I’ve ever used on short hair dogs! it’s super gentle, and very affective. I have a long hair guinea pig I’m going to try it on later but she is a beast about me touching her hair on her back end, so I’m not expecting it to go well she probably won’t even let me get close to her with it haha. but I will update the review if I’m able to try it on her.

Sturdy & works, but there’s got to be something better out there
I debated between 3 and 4 stars for this brush- considering the price, I was leaning more towards 4, but I don’t really like it very much. It works well for what it is, but I have a few issues.–> It causes a lot of static charge and zaps my cat frequently. While she loves the feeling of being brushed/scratched, she doesn’t like getting zapped and I’m afraid this will eventually lead to her not wanting to be brushed.–> It pulls off quite a lot of fur, so that’s good- you definitely need a bag with you so you have somewhere to put all the fur that comes off. However, it does not grab and hold onto the fur. It mostly loosens it and piles it into a ball, which I then must grab off my cat with my hands. I wish it held the hair on the brush so I could dispose of it better.–> I also wish that the hair that does stay on the brush had a way to come off easier. Because of the static charge it creates, the hair becomes super sticky to it, to my hands, to everything and it makes it hard to dispose of the hair into a bag or trash can.–> Lastly, because it doesn’t gather or hold the hair on the brush very well, it also releases a lot just up in the air and it settles down on everything around it- which is one of the reasons you brush a cat, right? so it won’t get all over your furniture, etc.I’m sure there’s a better brush out there, I just don’t know what- I’m open to recommendations, what works for you other cat owners?

I have a Lab Mix that sheds ALL over the house–everywhere !!! I read the reviews on this dog brush and looked at the price, and thought, this is never going to work. Boy was I wrong. This brush gets through the undercoat and brings forth dead and shedding hair like you would not believe. In just one brushing, I took off dead fur that had never seen the light of day. You don’t even need to look any longer. Get this brush. It will do the job and more. My Lab’s coat looks SO much better. The only other brush I will ever need is ANOTHER one of THESE !!!!!

Love it, seems highly comparable to the furminator which was definitely not within my student budget. Really works well for my cat and seems to reduce his shedding. He really enjoys it too, which is a plus. Recommend to others in a similar boat!

I have two chihuahua x dogs and the smaller length works great. Also this is the best thing I have tried to pull the hair from beneath and it has really cut down on the shedding. I don’t know what more the very expensive ones could do.
