Very nice, work like a champ
“Perfect for my chicken coop – absorbs like a champ!I’ve tried 4 different pine shavings brands, and these are by far the best value. The flakes are just the right size – not too dusty but not so large they’re uncomfortable for the hens. One bag fills my 8×10 coop nicely.After 2 weeks of use, I noticed significantly less odor compared to other brands. My chickens actually scratch through these more enthusiastically – must be the fresh pine smell! Will definitely reorder.

Only buy if you want a sample size
Make sure to read the description before purchasing! This is a very tiny amount, didn’t even cover the bottom of the chicken house or nesting boxes. Not worth the money.

This bag is tiny but flakes are good
I laughed when I opened the box this came in because I didn’t realize exactly how small it would be. For the price I was expecting a little bit more compared to the cost of the huge bags of shavings I get at the store. Anyway, the flakes themselves are pretty good, not too big but not too dusty. In my second picture, these flakes are on the left and the larger bag I normally get are on the right for comparison. They are packed sort of tight so they do fluff up and you get more coverage than you think out of the bag. I was able to add a large handful to each of my 10 nesting boxes and have a little bit left for fluffing up the most used boxes. Ladies approved.

Great, clean flakes that work perferctly!
Finally, chemical-free bedding that actually works!I’m extremely picky about what goes in my coop since I raise organic eggs. These shavings are 100% natural with no additives. They’re so absorbent that my chickens’ feet stay clean even after rainy days. The natural pine oils seem to help deter mites too. Worth every penny for healthy, happy hens!

Odd use for the product, but it works great for my purposes!
I got these shavings for a woodpecker nesting box. Woodpeckers prefer a nesting box that they have to clear out, so this product is what I needed. There is a lot in the package and it’s a decent price. It works well for what I needed it for. Good quality!

Fine Litter
This is a good bag of litter. I used it for my guinea pigs, which have a pull-out tray to clean their house. The fine-ness of the litter makes it easy to use in the tray. It is also absorbent and has a pleasant smell with little dust from the shavings. I think the pigs like the finer shavings more than the larger ones too because they are softer and easier for them to bed in.
