Great for Great Danes
This is an excellent food for young Great Dane puppies as long as you make sure their feet stay straight and don’t buckle which can happen on good foods with these Giant breeds. If that happens, then you will have to go to a lesser food like Purina One Adult or even Pedigree until it resolves. Some Dane puppies do fine, others have issues.I used a probiotic and introduced it gradually, but it was a wonderful food for mine. I switched to ProPlan All Life Stages Salmon and Rice at 9 months once the extra growing was mostly done.

My labs both digested it well.
Have raised 2 puppies on this line of food and both did great with it. I’d post a photo of their bowel movements but NO ONE wants to see that. Suffice to say they were regular and solid movements and as a dog owner I was happy with that.

I’m amazed!
I accidentally purchased this product for my puppy, a lab/ pit mix. I was looking for a high protein, development and sport formula to help him with growth, keep up with his activity and focus while obedience training. I thought he would have allergies, skin issues and digestive issues. It’s been an ongoing quest to find the right food. It looks like I’m sticking with this product because I’m amazed at the progress he’s made during obedience training in just a month. Not saying the work we’re doing in training isn’t relevant, it is. I think the food helps his focus, development for size, strength and cognitive improvement. He also has no adverse reaction to the food, no allergies, skin issues or digestive problems.

Switched our Weimaraner pup to this after some negative side effects to the food breeder provided.She has been on this for about 3 months now and has gained the appropriate amount of weight while staying lean for her breed. She is in love with it so much that we have had to switch to a slow feeder so she doesn’t gulp it down. Would highly recommend for large breed puppies. Our vet even said it was a great choice and highly approved!

this dog food does cost more. more than double other dry food. but it is also more nutritional. there is no need for extra vitamins. the product is definitely worth it. my puppy eats with wet food mixed. his weight has balanced and product is working on sport puppy

Great product and our Whippet really likes it. We feed her twice a day, her coat looks great, and it really maintains her weight well. Her stools are well formed and consistent, so she is digesting without problem.
