Best cat feeder out there
I’ve been using the ROJECO Automatic Cat Feeder since December 2022, and after nearly three years, I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my pet.This feeder has never let me down. I have it programmed for 5 AM and 5 PM feedings, and it delivers like clockwork every single day. Best purchase for my cats
I never thought I would ever buy a automatic feeder for my cats, but due to certain circumstances I ended up buying this because I was going out of town, and I didn’t want to bother any more people to come and feed My cats, I ended up choosing this feeder after much deliberation, and research, it has been the best thing I have ever bought my cats.My older cat who is 13 has always been a loud talker before dinner and a bit of a speed eater. In the past, I’ve had to use slow feeders to get him to slow down so I was a bit worried about purchasing this. I never realized that this was going to save my sanity because my cats are now on a schedule and my older cat no longer screams for food anymore. Nor am I hearing him at 3 in the morning crying for food.We’ve had this automatic feeder for several months now and it’s amazing. I have my cats on several meals a day two large meals, and three small snacks, so that my older cat doesn’t think he’s dying of hunger all day. It truly has improved his behavior so much since he no longer really has to think of me as a food source anymore. Yes occasionally they will get wet food and treats and I’m still his favorite person for that. But thankfully I no longer have to worry about him yelling for food several times a day, especially at night. If I ever noticed him starting to get a little vocal and it seems like it’s food related, I will give him a little extra portion but that was more towards the beginning of this experience, and has really lessened since then.He is also a Hangry type of cat and used to bully my younger cat when he wasn’t getting what he wanted from me (which was food) and thankfully that has also subsided. They have both come to really love the feeder and come running as soon as they hear food, and they actually have both picked their own bowl IAnd know exactly which bowl they need to go to.New routines take time and every cat is different so take your time with your cat if you’re thinking about getting a automatic feeder, but once they understand, they will catch onto the routine quite fast.I think the only negative thing I can say about the feeder is if you lose the Wi-Fi then you’re probably screwed which really has only ever happened to me once because we lost power but it really didn’t affect us since it didn’t last very long time.

Can you afford two machines a year?
I bought this in November 2022, today after several weeks of very weak feeds I decided to take the feeder apart to see what was going on and I found that every rubber paddle had broken off.Granted my cats like to reach up in there to dispense their own food but the fact that it didn’t last 6 months. Honestly I wonder how long it’s been doing this. I’m not home most of the time when I have it set to feed, thankfully I also give my cats wet food twice a day, small portions of food multiple times a day keeps my cats hairballs away, but if I was expecting this feeder to take care of my cats for a few days when I would be very worried about them getting enough to eat. There are no replacement parts listed anywhere, so unless I can find someone to 3d print me new paddles… and I figure out how to disassemble this to install them…I think this “functioning” feeder is worthless.If you have a cat that is A. Not inquisitive B. Not food aggressive at all C. Or a small have Dog that isn’t as flexible as a cat to put a paw up inside into feeder… then this is the feeder for you… if you have a normal cat don’t get this feeder. It’s my opinion a a mom of 15 year old cats… this is not a cat feeder and I’m a little frustrated that I wasted the money on this.

Not Bad Once Set Up
I use this for my two cats and have the app controlled version. I like how it has metal dishes that sit in the plastic dish holders to easily clean out. Once it’s set up, it’s pretty much set it and forget it.There are some things that I think could be improved though. First, the app is very confusing and difficult to navigate. If you ever need to re-set up the wifi (like if you’re moving or got a new router or something) it is not intuitive where to set that up. I have to click into each and every button and setting until I find it because it’s not obvious.The other thing is the opening could be smaller, or maybe adjustable. One of my cats has figured out how to stick his paw into the opening to turn the turnstile and give himself food! I had to tape a piece of cardboard over the opening so food can still come out but his paw can’t fit all the way in. He claws at the cardboard and tape now, and I have to replace that once it gets shredded.The last thing is the dish base could be more securely attached to the body of the device. Right now, the weight of the device just sits on top of the dish base to “lock” it in place. My other cat likes to paw at the machine a lot and sometimes he does it so aggressively that the dish base gets knocked off the machine and then their food just drops onto the floor if I’m not at home to fix it. It would be great if the base snapped onto the bottom of the machine so it doesn’t come loose.

dry food gets stuck in the rotating thing, and the feeder doesn’t dispense food anymore . it happened 3 times already, have only had it 2 months. No error or warning … you think your pet has eaten if you are not home . I don’t trust it for a day or two if you have cats and want to leave home. Your pet is going to starve.

Me ha llegado 1 día antes de lo previsto, se ajustaron a mi horario para poder entregar el paquete, GRACIAS!!!La fuente es muy bonita, silenciosa si se le pone el grifo, tiene un gran tamaño y materiales sólidos, no se siente frágil el metal, tiene una luz que no es muy útil para uno, pero quizá para la visión de los gatos sí sea suficiente. Desconozco cuál es el tiempo de vida útil de la bomba, por lo que creo es recomendable seguir dejando un recipiente con agua por si llega a fallar ó, por si llega a haber un apagón que deje sin agua a Beren, mi gato. Posiblemente después compre otra más completa, con sensor de movimiento y batería integrada. Para ser la 1ra fuente yel 1er día está bien, espero volver a escribir en un par de meses sin reportar fallas.
