Meets my birds nutritional needs!
This is a great product for the mineral needs cage birds have. I research all the ingredients of the products that my animals consume and this product contains the correct ingredients to keep my birds healthy with their mineral intake. Great product…..great price!!! Will buy again when I run out for sure!!

Good little mineral blocks. Long lasting, and my bird uses it!
These are great little mineral blocks. They attach very easily to my green cheek conure’s cage. It’s funny because I have never seen her actually use it, (she’s very sneaky beaky about it) but I see her little beak marks on it, so I know she’s using it! I have had mine for 11 months, and she’s still using the first block.

Birds never touched them
I really thought the birds would love these blocks. I was wrong. I ended giving them away to someone with parakeets

Smaller than expected
These mineral blocks are smaller than what I thought. Overpriced for what you get. Will not order again, as there are other bigger mineral blocks available for a reasonable price.mineral

Good product. Fast service
I ordered my first order and received them in 2 days. I liked being able to order a 12 ct. I use the mineral blocks in breeding cages and use a lot. The size is ideal for my breeding cages.

Finally, a mineral block with iodine
I looked all over for a mineral block with iodine, so happy to have found these. They are a great size for budgies and the birds seem to like them.I do wish they had sharper edges instead of the rounded ones, it hard for the birds to get a good bite. A heavier twist tie would be nice too.

All Birds Need Calcium Especially Females Laying Eggs!
This product plays a major role in keeping your bird healthy, especially if she is laying eggs! Calcium ensures strong bones/teeth yes but also Calcium maintains a normal heart rate, and it helps to communicate nerves into the nervous system. All birds need calcium in their diet or they face loss of bone and and nerve formation. Thus, affecting their muscle and brain. That being said – calcium is used for shell formation in egg-laying female birds. Without it their eggshells often become thin, causing egg binding or prolapse, which can and does cause death. <-- To ensure that my birds get the needed amount of Calcium I food process up a brick of this when mine are brooding and I sprinkle some onto their grains each morning or seeds in the evening. Also note that in hatched chicks calcium deficiency causes skeletal abnormalities including rickets and misshapen bones. Cuttlebones do not have added calcium as a rule so you need cuttles as well as a separate Calcium supplement. These bricks, green vegs as well as beans etc. all help. (For the record my Cockatiels are 29 and 20 years old, my Parakeets are 2 years old). I do use dummy eggs to stop the keets from laying because it's better for them than laying several times a year. Today they are on 4th egg laid even with dummy eggs. 🙂

Good One!
My cockatiel, Pika is very picky and I tried many other cuttle bones from different brands for her calcium requirements. She didn’t like their taste, but as soon as I put this one on her cage, she started biting and eating. So, it’s a good one actually!
