very good fish tank
I picked this tank up mainly as a transition and quarantine setup for my betta, but it’s turned out to be a great little emergency tank for winter too. The built-in bottom filter keeps the water clear and runs quietly, which makes it easy to keep on a desk or counter without any buzzing. It’s compact but gives enough room for a single fish to stay active and comfortable.During colder month like now, it’s a lifesaver — the enclosed design and easy heating make it simple to keep temps steady around 78°F. I’ve used it a few times to isolate new or stressed fish, and it’s quick to clean and reset each time. For what it costs, the build quality and clarity are surprisingly good. Great option for anyone who needs a dependable small tank for temporary housing, quarantine, or just a cozy winter setup.

Might need more sub straits!
Super great quality I have it next to my 20 gallons long and it fits about perfectly for anyone looking for size reference on the 5 gallon! The tank itself a beautiful rimless tank I like the black tint on it it helps great a barrier I needed ! The black rock sub strait is good definitely need a little more so it’s ticket for plants or just whatever fish you get the preferred amount of substrait I put in some I already with it so it works out . The rock that came with it didn’t float so not weight need for them and filter it’s very easy to set up I can’t tell not much maintenance will be needed because everything is washable so no need to replace anything and it’s very quiet dosent make any noise ! And heater works great I like how it’s compact ! It isn’t adjustable but my tank sits at 80 degrees so it perfect for me !

Fantastic Tank, Replace the Heater
This tank kit looks great out of the box, but what satisfied me most is how well the system is designed once you set it up. The hang-on-back filter is the standout feature. It uses a sponge and ceramic biomedia—not disposable cartridges—so it supports a stable nitrogen cycle. The flow is gentle, quiet, and perfect for a betta. The water stays clear, and the filter provides plenty of oxygen without stressing my betta, Vincent.The tank itself is beautiful: the black-tinted back hides equipment and reduces reflections, and the soft bottom pad keeps vibrations low. It all looks clean and modern.The only weak point was the included preset heater, which ran too hot and too cold. I replaced it with a quality adjustable heater and bought a digital thermometer, and now the setup is excellent. I also added blue gravel to deepen the substrate and provide some color.If the manufacturer upgraded the heater, this would be a near-perfect kit.Overall, a great little aquarium with a surprisingly high-quality filter and excellent design. With a better heater, it becomes an ideal home for a betta.

Great starter set up!
The quality of this aquarium set is overall good. I am a first time fish keeper and appreciate the simplicity of this set up and that it comes with all of the basic things you need to care for a fish. It’s a good size and my Betta seems happy in his tank! The tank itself has a few minor scratches and the filter came with a few chips/cracks in the plastic, but the customer service is superb! I received a replacement within 2 weeks. I definitely recommend- it’s a great value for everything that you get!

excited for my new decoration
We just moved into a new house and boy i love having a fish tank in the house for a while and i finally decided to purchase one to make my entryway a welcoming home vibe. The delivery is neat and glasses are quality built looks so well with my beautiful fishes in it and its painless since it comes with everything i need to run this thing. Good quality tank for reasonable price. Cheap incomplete lid.
Very nice quality tank. It has basically everything you need to get up and running, aside from gravel and decorations. The shaded back glass is a nice touch, especially if you’re keeping it on a windowsill and want to cut down on sunlight. The included cleaning kit (net, brush, etc.) feels a bit flimsy, but I already have my own so it wasn’t a big deal.The filter seems to be cycling well, and the glass feels sturdy, not cheap at all. My only real gripe is the lid, it feels flimsy and low quality. It’s basically a thin piece of plastic that sits on small plastic brackets. If you have fish that are prone to jumping, or you want every part of the setup to feel premium, the lid might bother you as it’s not completely closed.My heater has been working great so far, although the LED on it is pretty bright. I turned mine toward the back of the tank and that helped. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

Ok first time tank.
Not bad, but the heater goes after a few days and the light isn’t really sufficient for tank. Mid quality and functional. Good little tank for a first time aquarium owner or for a fry tank because of the size.
