Cat loves all the toys from this Yeowww brand, and the fish is a favorite because it’s big and long enough to wrestle with and kick. Catnip quality and strength is excellent too, adding to the excitement.

My cat loves anything Yeowww! related so I was not surprised when this pollock became one of his favourite toys. He loves to lay on it (see photo) and squash it, to the point that I had to buy more because he wore it out from abuse. The catnip in Yeowww! products is particularly potent and he goes nuts for his fishy. He usually bunny kicks the crap out of it, and it’s big so he can hug it with his whole body to really get a hold of it to beat it up 🙂
Won’t buy this brand any more way to sticky and seems ingredients changed. –

This is our 3rd replacement!
Got this for my old boy YEARS ago and it was his favorite toy. Got passed down to our younger kittens with the same enthusiasm and eventually had to be replaced as it was no longer recognizable as a fish. 5 years after Pollock Fish OG and we’ve just had to replace Pollock fish 2.0 with Pollock Fish 3.0. Never fails to be a favorite amongst our 4 cats and the amount of love they’ve shown 2.0 over the last 2 years is obvious 😂 10/10, no notes. Smell proof packaging would be helpful as the baby kitten keeps trying to raid the trash after the Amazon envelope but can we really blame him? This s*** is apparently super dope.

OK, I know cat toys are not usually objectively good or bad, as nothing is more subjective than a cat. MY cat is a picky, spoiled, pampered pain in the butt, who doesn’t play with toys, and is even very picky about how he takes his nip. (Much like my life in the 80s, it involves removing a lot of stems to just leave the good bits) All that said, he LOVES his fish! He know what it means when I say “You want you FEESH?” and comes and sits in front of me waiting for it. This cat who doesn’t play with toys is suddenly rolling around on the ground, rabbit kicking this poor fish, and chomping down on it like he means it. The toy hold up to this abuse quite well, and while I have gone through three of them, it’s not because of damage that I replace them. My suggestion is to keep this as a once-a-week kind of toy, because at least for Wooster’s part, it has kept it a toy that he he is always excited about, and he doesn’t build up a nip tolerance. I am thinking about getting a few more and vacuum packing them (or at least a Zip-Lock bag, I don’t have a vacuum sealer, I just wanted to sound like a big shot, sorry.) so that if they ever stop making them I will have a few more years worth of magic drug-fish for my cat. I will also add that, much to Wooster’s annoyance, I now have second cat, Noodles. She also LOVES the fish! I gave her Wooster’s old one when I got his new one, and despite a year of abuse and Wooster spit, she jumped right on it. (I will attach a video this because, you know… cat video!) Buy yourself (or your cat) one of these fish!Note: I received no additional head bonks or lap-sits in exchange for this review.
