Tweezerman Dog Nail Clippers
This is a solid nail clipper for dogs. I purchased the large size and I like that it opens wide so getting the clipper around your dogs nail is easy. It’s sharp and cuts clean. Tweezerman makes great products and I expect this will last a long time.

Such a huge upgrade from the cheap nail clippers I was using before
I actually really enjoy using these nail clippers, maybe more than my pups do, but I genuinely think they prefer these over our old ones too. The difference was noticeable right away. My first thought was that they look a lot like pliers, but in a good way. They feel sturdy, solid, and professional the second you pick them up.They’re definitely larger than the basic clippers I had before, which actually makes them easier to hold and control. The ergonomic handle fits comfortably in my hand, and it takes very little effort to clip each nail. You can both feel and hear the difference; the cut is clean and quick instead of that awkward crunch you sometimes get with dull clippers. They’re sharp and efficient, so the whole process goes faster. I also appreciate that they haven’t slipped, even when one of my my pups tried to pull their paw away. That added control makes grooming feel less stressful for the both of us.I honestly didn’t realize what I was missing. I had gotten so used to tolerating small, cheap clippers that I assumed nail trims were just supposed to be a hassle. These have made the whole experience smoother and quicker. I would absolutely recommend them if you’re looking to upgrade your grooming tools.

Smaller than previous orange handled dog clippers and better for my hands. Cut nails well!
These dog and cat nail clippers are smaller than ones I have used previously for my large dog. Although are a little less substantial than previous clippers I have owned, the stainless steel blades do a good job of cutting my medium size dog’s nails. I like the ergonomic black handle and also the size which is more comfortable to hold in my hand. I did notice that when I cut one nail that was a little thicker it took quite a bit more effort, and I had the feeling that the blades could not have handled a nail much thicker than that. I didn’t test it, however. There is a small knob on the top of the handle that locks the clippers shut and can be released by simply squeezing the handle on the clipper, so that can be used with only one hand free, which is a plus.I believe the smaller size of these clippers is an advantage for me, a senior woman, because they are easier to manage and to hold. They cut the nails cleanly, as well, although my dog would not agree because she is not a fan of having her nails cut, no matter how nice the clippers! As for the cat, I usually use small stainless steel cat clippers for her, but these would likely work even better because they have the spring handles. I was not able to try them on her as it takes an army of people to contain her to have her nails trimmed. If and when I am able to do that, I will update this review!

Quality pet nap clippers
I love these Tweezerman animal nail clippers so much. I use their products on my own face, and have worked with their customer service in the past. They honored a warranty and made everything easy. These clippers are quality. You can tell by how it feels in your hand, and the smooth trim. No nasty crunching like my previous clippers. Definitely recommend.

Easy to use for smaller hands, less grip strength required
Our household includes a 120 pound Great Pyrenees, and we give her most of her baths and nail trimmings at home, so I was very happy to try out these large precision nail clippers by Tweezerman. Tweezerman has a great reputation, so my expectations were pretty high. These nail trimmers do not open as wide as our other, older nail trimmers, so I found them easier to grip and use. They open and shut very smoothly and require less hand strength to trim thick nails. These trimmers are lighter weight, having sturdy, black plastic handles with comfortable grooves for the fingers and a safety latch. They worked very well, and, overall, I would say they are a big upgrade over our older pair. They are easier to use and a good quality pet grooming product. I think the price is justified by the quality and ease of use.

Sharp and work
We have had the same pair of nail clippers for awhile and they have worked great on our small and medium sized dogs for years. But as our medium sized girl has gotten older, her nails have gotten darker and thicker which makes me nervous to do her nails. When I saw these and the fact that they are twice (maybe more) the size of the ones I currently owned, I decided to try them out. They work SO much better! They clip quickly but they don’t snap too quick—if that makes sense. They are a great size and my hand feels balanced while using them. They are sharp, accurate, safe and simple to use. Would order these again and feel the price is accurate for the item and quality you get.

Just okay…not the usual Tweezerman quality.
These are just okay. I’m a huge fan of Tweezerman, so I expect these to have tight tolerances and be very sharp. They kind of twist the dog’s nail before cutting. I also wish it had the little protector that keeps you from cutting too much.

Comfortable!
I’ve used Tweezerman brand tweezers for myself for years, so when I saw they had dog nail clippers I knew I needed to try them. They did not disappoint. The handles are rubberized, so they don’t slide out of your hand easily, and it makes the grip much more comfortable. Most clippers handles are wide apart. These clippers aren’t! I did all my dogs nails and my fingers didn’t cramp! They have the little depth guard you can use to ensure you aren’t cutting too short, that glides in place easily. These clippers are sharp! I have 3 chihuahuas and 2 dachshunds. If these clippers are anything like their tweezers, they should last me a year. I would pay for one nail trim on my 5 dogs what these clippers cost and I will get a ton of nail clips out of them! From the first nail to the last these are the best clippers for my dogs I’ve tried!
