this is the best food for my parrot, the price was reasonable now that inflation is here prices on almost everything has gone up on average 25 to 50% . the government keeps inflated the dollar by printing money without taxing enough to balance the paper. the public has no idea how the system works.

A MUST for Parrot and Cockatoo owners
Smells great! Our Parrot and Cockatoo eat ALL their food when we feed this. Also, our birds are not particular when we use this food unlike regular bird food they literally throw most of it on the bottom of their cage, then it goes in the trash. Which makes this food the most cost effective choice for our birds. This food there is No waste! Our really enjoy this food so much they reach for it like peanuts. Which are their other favorites. The size is perfect for double yellow head and Golfin Cockatoo. Sizes of food vary for nibbling and then larger for holding a piece with one foot while eating on their perches.Would have rated 5 stars though from the handling process there is is a lot if crumb powder in the bottom of the bag. Been feeding this food for over 20 years. This brand has been very consistent.

Big Bird loves it!
I have an Amazon and he has thrived for years on this food. Of course he gets treats but when I ran out of the rainbow exact, he quit eating! Definitely, his favorite!

Macaw eats it well
I’m no vet so nutritionally – who knows. But I bought these on a whim and they smell fruity and my macaw likes them. I supplement veggies and fruit so I’m not concerned about how healthy they are. Plus I know people with parrots older than me that are doing fine – those birds ate pellets and seed from 40 years ago before all the marketing around health was around – birds are scavengers people. They eat rotten fruit and dead things. The pellets for macaws tend to be larger than these – this size is generally marketed toward African greys and such, but I have a greenwing that seems to prefer this size. These smell so nice I tried one. Surprisingly, these taste like ground seeds not fruit. I mix these with a seed mix and it works great. If your pellets and seeds are supplemented with fruits and veggies, any brand your bird will eat will be fine (as long as they don’t have the rat poison in the grain issue). A bag of this and similar size seed mix lasts me around 6 months I think. I do mix in maybe 3 bags of raw peanuts (near the beer aisle at my grocery) in the same amount of time.

Great Food at a Reasonable Price
My macaw was eating zupreem, but the price on that kept getting higher so I searched for something comparable but more cost effective and found this stuff. My bird eats it just fine. The pellets are smaller so there is less waste. She eats all the colors and hasn’t had any negative side effects. I like that I can order it online and have it shipped to my door quickly.

A very high quality pellet food, the only one my parrots will eat. My two African Grey’s LOVE these pellets and frankly I was surprised they started eating it.To make a more affordable but still high quality food I mix these with “Kaytee Fiesta Max Food Parrot 25 lb” and these “Kaytee Supreme Food – Parrot – 25 lbs” for a total of 70 pounds. I stored them in 5 gallon buckets using this lid system “http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005W31TX2/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i01” and these food safe liners “http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001Y0Y8C6/ref=oh_details_o03_s01_i01http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001Y0Y8C6/ref=oh_details_o03_s01_i01” using the included water absorbers.It seems like a lot of work but the end result is 70 pounds of a very high quality seed, pellet, fruit, and vitamin mix which seems ideal for their nutrition. Of course I supplement their diet with daily fresh fruits and veggies and pastas.. but if I must be gone for a few weeks and their minder can only feed them dry food.. then I’ll feel good knowing they’re getting all the nutrition they need and a lot of the taste and quality they want.

Tengo un loro Amazona autumnalis, y como complemento de alimentación es muy bueno, le gusta mucho, por el aroma y los colores, esta marca siempre ha sido de buena calidad y aqui lo encuentro a mejor precio y con mas surtido, pero OJO, solo es un complemento en su dieta, recordar que estos animalitos requieren mucho cuidado y son caros de mantener, ya que ademas de agua fresca, requieren frutas y verduras y mezcla de semillas, y aparte las croquetas
