Very durable.
I saw several reviews saying it was hard to put together and that the quality was bad. I highly disagree. My boyfriend put it together in under an hour by himself. Our bunny has been living in it for 3 months now and it’s held up nicely. He has chewed the ladder some but he’s a rabbit it’s inevitable. The color is super cute and it looks really good in the house. I would say that it’s not big enough for a rabbit to live in at all times. We let our dude roam while we’re home but he does sleep in it and hang out in there while we’re at work.

Big Regret
First of all, all the wooden pieces reeked of mold. I didn’t see any but the smell has only faded a little bit. The materials are SO cheap and flimsy. I didn’t expect the world’s finest quality for this price, but come on. You can see that they only did one fast coat of spray paint and can see through it in many big spots. The top doesn’t lay entirely flat, the right side is up a little higher so there’s a gap and that’s not from when we constructed it. The closing mechanism doesn’t seem to be scraping the wood- but there are deep circles with scratched-off paint around the closure on both levels like it does? You can also see on some of the white-colored pieces dirty marks like someone with dirt on their hands was moving the pieces. If that’s the case it would mean they sent me a used one when I purchased one that’s supposed to be new. These can’t be cleaned off and so the enclosure just looks like it’s dirty. When you pull out the trays for “easy” clean up, not everything actually comes out with the tray, quite a bit falls down behind it. I already sold my guinea pig’s previous enclosure so this is the one I am stuck with now and it sucks. Don’t make the same mistake I did and waste your money.

STURDY AND SUPER EASY TO PUT TOGETHER!
Super easy to put together! It took me about 30 minutes to put it together.I am using it as a brooder so I love the 2 stories. I can keep the smaller chicks up top and the larger ones on the bottom.It is really sturdy compared to other brands I have bought in the past.I definitely recommend this!

Would probably buy a different hutch the next time
Cute but slightly poor quality. The drawers dont seem to fit very well and do not slide in an out as expected. I have to pound them in when I am finally able to get them out. Its almost as if the slats are misaligned for the tray. The bottom plastic stains from urine despite bedding and pad protectors and the wood on the inside is easily chewed on. The hinges are a pain on the doors as you can only open one door at a time and have to rotate the dragonfly shape to allow the door next to it to open.

Edit!!!This product uses Fir wood which is toxic to bunnies. Heavy scent of fir which even the scent can damage rabbits lungs. If they eat it which they will it’s even worse.Decent for the price. It is thin side walls and trays. I am not sure how long it will last but it’s good to start with. It all went together easily with a drill. Design seems good. It seems to be made of cedar so it has a strong odor and the paint job is most disappointing. The white paint near one of the doors is not covering the wood well. Cute dragonfly latches. Overall I would buy again as of right now. See photos.

Crap don’t buy
Very cheaply made. The instructions were impossible to follow. The ladder literally broke off in a week. Very hard to clean. It’s so wobbly. And the pee literally leaks out of it. It’s very small. Not a good product save your moneyEditing my review to add I recieved this on November 19th put it together that night and had my 2 buns in it. As of January 6th it has now killed 2 of my beloved rabbits. When we found them they had pieces of the divider in their mouths. So now I have 2 dead bunnies, a cage I can’t use, and a devastated 4 year old. Our bunnies didn’t deserve this. They loved running out of the cage into our laps, laying on their backs and having their tummies rubbed, and were very loved.

Poor quality
The whole home has something wrong with it. From splintered and broken wood pieces to the wood that doesn’t even reach front to back to sit in the grooves to hold the top tray in place, and feels like it will give out when my rabbit sits up top. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone, and was not the quality I expected for the price or based off the advertisement. Nothing aligned easy and the instructions were a bit confusing. This is not stable at all and the doors open okay but you have to make sure you align the latch correctly or you will not be able to open the doors uniformly. Cleaning is okay, but my main issue is that the bedding and poos fall through the tray on the bottom level so I highly recommend a rug or something underneath to protect the flooring.
