[Bubble Filter] With air pump as the power source, combined with mechanical filtration, the sponge can absorb fine particles to achieve the effect of water purification. The flow of water is controlled by air flow and can increase the production of bubbles and increase oxygen.
【Changeable filter material】Two kinds of replaceable filter materials: 3 sponges and 1 bag ceramic filter balls.Sponges can be cleaned and used repeatedly.
【Easy to use】 Use a 4mm air tube to connect the end to the air pump and the other end to this tank filter. The height of outlet can be adjusted so that you can change the direction and height of the water flow (not including the pump and air tu’be, please choose a powerful pump for this filter according to your tank size).
【Quiet】Multi-layer filter cotton design, increase the surface area, to achieve better filtration effect. The 1/4 cylindrical design can take up as little space as possible and give your fish more space to move around.
【Size】3.6*5.8Inch.for 3~20Gal fish tank

Love these
These are great in my aquarium. I use these with a filter and everything thrives in my tank.

Great filter!
I absolutely love these filters! They are easy to assemble, and because if the design they take up a smaller footprint in your tank compared to similar sized sponge filters. I have bought about +10 of these now for all me breeding tanks.

Neat Concept
I really like these sponge filters because of the added bio filter containment. I used the ceramic balls as provided in one of these, but the other I have lifted higher in the tank to provide more surface agitation and have the sponge turned upside down, so the bio chamber is also upside down. Some of the ceramic balls fall into the suction area like this so I swapped them out for a cut up sponge floss filter instead which works fine. I had to be careful to fully flood the chamber with tank water when setting it back up though as the suction spot is now at the top of the chamber instead of the bottom. Either way these clearly work as I finally did the first cleaning with them after about a month of letting the tank run and the amount of brown dirtiness that I squeezed out was crazy! I just used a little extra of my already prepped tank water to squeeze and clean both sponges and it worked really well. Definitely worth it for our shrimp and giant betta tank! Only thing I miss about a traditional hob filter was the ability to catch the larger particles of junk and keep them from going back into the tank, but I am able to get most of that with a gravel filter so it’s a decent trade off.

Exactly what I needed!
I use this filter as secondary filter to my hang on back filters. Also, to add aeration. The filter performs as expected. I noticed less particles in the water right away. Its very quiet. It’s in a planted 29 gallon tank. The filter was easy to install and is mostly hidden behind driftwood. The sponge is easily accessible for cleaning. It’s a great value for the money. I would buy again!

Great value
Great value for the price and work just as good as the normal sponge filter.

Kind of clumsy size but works
Works okay in my 20 gallon. Tips over all the time. Top suction cup fails. I’m not sure if it’s my mystery snails knocking it around, but it does not stay straight on the glass for long. Bio media seems to work and the filter sponge works fine. No flow control, definitely on the lighter flow side even with a decent pump. Kind of awkward shape, very tall and bottom heavy.

SILENT
i paired this filter with this pump ( https://a.co/d/2nKIoZP ) with limited expectations and threw it onto my new standard 10g. i have been suffering through the grating bubbling and vibrations of other filter/pump combos. this? this right here is silent WITHOUT having to buy and install an air stone separately (why don’t they come standard on sponge filters??? like don’t piss me off rn.)i’ve had it installed and running for almost 2 months, and i honestly forget it’s even running a lot of the time. i have the output tube half in and half out of the water, so there’s great aeration and circulation with no bubbling noise. i will say that it’s bulky and not very attractive, but i knew that going into all of this. every sponge filter in existence has the same problem. i scaped around it and hopefully my plants grow up and block most of it from view. i’m using this filter/pump combo on every tank forever and ever and ever !!!

Good little filter
Good little filter it’s not loud depending on your air flow. The suckers were not sticking at first but adding a minuscule coat of petroleum jelly got it in place
