    Good quality treats
My Shih Tzu loves these. I break these in half for him to chew easier as he’s an older pup. He’s always excited to get these treats and really loves the smell and taste. They do smell good actually and look like they’re made well. Not a crunchy hard treat, but on the softer side. I’d put softness in the median range.

    Puppy loves these snacks
We bought these for our 16 week puppy who also eats Science diet food. They are soft. They didn’t upset his tummy in any way.

    Perfect for little dogs!
These are perfect for small dogs with tiny mouths. They are soft and don’t have a bad smell. Great buy and we love the quality of all the ingredients from all of Hill’s pet products.

    Soft dog treats
Came on time. But it’s not soft. The package says it’s soft. However it is not.

Vet recommended for my diabetic dog
My vet gave these to my baby who is a diabetic. Perfect little treats that she can eat and I don’t have to worry about it spiking her blood sugar. She loves these!!

Hard, not soft enough for small dog and not large enough for bigger dogs.
These are too tough for my small dog to chew and the large dog just swallows them. They are not soft and chewy as advertised.

    These he will eat!
Our pup loves these treats, because they are easy to chew for his very small mouth. He loves the taste.

They are just as described but for some reason my puppy doesn’t love them. And she eats everything. But we’ll, it depends on the puppy. The only thing to know is that if you leave them out of the bag for a while (we have some in hand for training) the treats become hard solid.

My dog has a lot of dietary restrictions as she has has multiple surgeries to remove stones (her breed is predisposed to them). Her vet is fairly particular on what we feed her because of that. He recommended treats by Hills but did not have a huge selection of them at his clinic so I figured I’d check Amazon out to give her some variety. These treats are made with real chicken (her favorite) and are made in the USA with a smaller list of ingredients that you can actually read. She absolutely loves these little treats and begs for them throughout the day. I will continue to buy these for her and look for other Hills brand treats in the future.

These treats dry out pretty fast like any other treat, they are pretty soft and chewy and you can break them up with your hand. It’s a pretty small bag for 5 dollars though so I’d keep that in mind. Overall it’s a fine training treat as a come back from potty or basic training, my dog didn’t go crazy over it so I wouldn’t use it for recall.

My dog’s vet recommended these treats for when I rewarded him after a successful tooth-brushing session. My vet is very careful about his food recommendations, and we often discuss diets, and the fact that most dog foods aren’t all that good for dogs. Grain free? Well, turns out, dogs need grains! Anyways, my dog goes APE for these treats, and as a result, he’s happy to put up with getting his teeth brushed. These are about 50 cents more each than what my vet charges, but I am happy to pay the wee bit more for the convenience of not having to hop in the car to go get more.

My Border Collie does like this “treat” but it is hard. Not soft at all. My 14-week old Border Collie has no problem eating these but it does take a bit of time for him to chew through the treat. Because of this extra chew time, I do not use these as treats in a training session where the treats are being served out fast as it takes too long for my puppy to eat each treat. I use them during our fetch play time breaks, during long downs and distant recall rewards. These would be useless trying to train my dog to weave or do figure-8s between my legs as he would have to stop to eat each treat. As these treats are hard, and have little to no odour, I have no problem simply carrying a few in my pocket. This could be be perfect for joggers or walkers looking to carry something for the occasion dog that runs up to them.
