Ok. I’ve been in the Aquarium hobby for over 10 years and the one thing that always irritated me was the damn hum of every air pump. Well, a miracle has occurred! I couldn’t believe it. I was shocked. I was stunned! I was ecstatic! I plugged it in and heard…nothing? At first I went “Huh?” then I looked at my air bubblers and they were bubbling so hard and so fast that it was as if Neptune had decided to fill my tank with bubbles! I’ve NEVER had an air bubbler with zero sound! I asked myself “What kind of sorcery is this?” But, it is true! The holy grail of bubblers has arrived! I ordered the largest of the bunch for a 120 gallon tank and had to reduce the amount of bubbles it produced by turning down the dial. I can tell you this, you will not regret this buy. In fact, you’ll toss out any bubblers you have. This pump is incredible! The power! The lack of sound! Nothing beats it!

Amazingly quiet for the power!
I’ve had aquariums off and on for almost 50 years. I’ve always hated the hum from the air pumps. I’ve even tried making sound proof boxes for the pump when I have a tank in my bedroom. I was very happy when I bought air pumps from AQUASMITH. They were the quietest I’ve ever seen. Until now. This Hygger pump is much more powerful than the AQUASMITH pumps, but is just as quiet. The only sound you hear is coming from the bubbles it produces. Combined with the Aquarium Co-op’s Easy Flow sponge filters, it is almost undetectable.

Great air flow
Although I love this air pump… its loud. Unless you have a drawer or cabinet, you will hear it, unless you go very low settings. But theb just defeats the purpose of a 7w air pump. It won’t produce enough air.Wish they made a single port with this style and power. Functionality is brainless perfect. Size does not seem too bad, its nice to look at and stylish. Definitely feels durable and not cheap.

Much quieter than I expected.
The air pump is very quiet and output a lot of air. I have it running four sponge filters on its lowest setting and I hear more noise from the bubbles than the air pump.
