Very sturdy wont tip over
This 34-inch scratching post is perfect. The color I picked looks great in the room, assembly took a couple of minutes, and it’s surprisingly sturdy. My cats climb, stretch, and scratch on it nonstop and it never tips over. It also doesn’t take up much space, which is a bonus. Great quality and totally worth it.

Easy to build, my cats love it, doesn’t smell weird, great quality, seems stable enough. Also came with a piece for my cats to brush up against and little areas to put cat nip (also gave me a small free bag of cat nip)

Sturdy scratching post that my cats love
This scratching post was easy to put together and feels really sturdy once assembled. I like that you can leave one of the poles out if you want it to be a little shorter, which is a nice option depending on your space.The base is solid so it doesn’t wobble when my cats scratch or climb on it. It also came with a little brush scratcher that attaches to the bottom, which my cats absolutely love rubbing their faces on.The spring toy on the bottom is another great touch and makes my kitten goes CRAZY playing with it. It’s a great color too that doesn’t stick out.Overall it’s a great scratching post for the price and my cats started using it right away.

Nice post, but…
Very sturdy and the base is wide and heavy, so likely will not tip over, plus the sisal is well attached. Fairly easy to put together (I set it up to be at its tallest). I attached the groomer and added some catnip as well as sprayed the post with catnip spray. My cat immediately began using the groomer, but I haven’t seen her use it since and have never seen her use the scratching post. She seems to prefer the cardboard ones so far.Thus the 4 stars.Time will tell. I will update this review if anything changes.

Nothing fancy, but does the job
Great scratching post for cats that like to scratch vertically. The tall design with the two balls gives you bang for your buck. Perfect size for adult cats. The color keeps it from standing out, but keeps it looking nice. It’s lightweight and easy to move around. It’s soft and doesn’t shed. Its large base keeps it stable from large scratches and/or attacks.

Tall and stable
This is a great scratching post. It was easy to assemble and I like that I can remove the bottom half when it becomes too used and attach the top directly to the base. It is durable and stable. The balls are a nice touch and help to encourage them to use the post. I ultimately chose this one because it was taller than most scratching posts, which our orange cat really appreciates.It came with a self grooming brush that you can attach to the post or to something else. It also came with catnip. Our cats don’t use these, but I like the thought.

Cat ignored it for four months, but now he loves it!
I bought this for Jax, who loves scratching the sisal posts on his cat trees. But the sisal on them has worn down, and my attempts at replacing it weren’t as good as the original. So I thought, I’ll buy him a new scratching post and he’ll love it!Spoiler: he did not love it. He ignored it completely. For four months!But then, a couple of weeks ago, he decided it was a great scratching post! Now he comes into my bedroom and, before his morning petting and brushing, he’ll use the scratching post for a short while. And then again at night, when I go up to my bedroom, he’ll follow and use the scratching post again.Anyway, it’s a good size for him to get a stretch in, and light enough that I can move it into the corner when vacuuming. Will he keep liking it a month from now? Who knows! Cats are fickle. But it’s a solid scratching post for any cat, when they’re in the mood at least.
