Great product
I have been buying this fish food for over a year. I also supplement other food like veggies because I have Dojos and Goldfish, but this particular fish food has been a wonderful product. It sinks, doesn’t cloud the water, and most importantly has been consistent in packaging, and formula. Maybe a bit higher on the price end for what you are buying, but quality is worth it for me. Most of the time you can get this product on Prime two-day shipping, sometime for the large pellets it takes a few more days, so I recommend ordering ahead when you START to get low.

Defishes think they’re delishes!
I have an outdoor tank that for several years has been home to several large goldfish. They were sold as feeder fish which are sometimes considered genetically inferior, and I want to do my best to keep them healthy. To avoid swim bladder, it is generally recommended to feed sinking pellets so why are they so hard to find? I was pleased to find these New Life sinking pellets, and the fish are even more pleased. They love them! If I feed these along with another brand of pellet, they go after the New Life and reject the other pellets. The pellets are small but the fish don’t mind. My fish haven’t had swim bladder problems. The pellets stay intact and don’t cloud up the tank. I wouldn’t mind if they were sold in a larger container if that saved me a little money, but the smaller container means they’re fresher because I purchase them more often.

Goldfish loves it.
We have a goldfish in a 70 gal tank that’s about 10 inches long. She used to eat from my hand but ever since we went away a few days and had someone else feed her, she is scared of me. I purchased this sinking food so she can eat it before it gets pulled into the filter. She seems to really like it.

Received unsealed and spilled
Great product for our goldfish but received unsealed and spilled out. Appears same reviews for other purchasers. Seller must do better in packaging!

Great food wish they would sink faster
Fish love food and smell. Even when soaked. Pellets are slow to sink

Beware of pellet size
The “Large Pellets” are very small. My fish don’t even see them.

These are great!
I have several fancy goldfish. About two months ago one of them started floating upside down. I thought it was swim-bladder as that looked like a classic symptom. Fed them peas, then nothing for a couple of days. She started swimming right side up, yay! Then I fed them their regular high quality flakes and she went upside down again. More peas, couple days fasting, right side up, and then upside down again after flakes. The more I started keeping an eye on them, the more I noticed that with the flakes floating at the top of the water for a little bit, she would go after them but then gulp in huge amounts of air while she did it. I checked the water parameters, they were fine. Changed the water. Tried the peas again, repeated the whole cycle.I decided to try sinking pellets instead of flakes or pellets that floated and bought these. Fancy goldfish has not floated upside down a single time since we started using this. They sink slowly enough for the fish to notice and start eating them, and then they spend awhile digging through the gravel to find the rest. It keeps them occupied for awhile and they just go crazy over these pellets. All in all, I’m so happy I found these, and my goldfish are too!
