Best Litter I’ve Used
This is the best cat litter I have found. I have tried other “natural” cat litter in the past and they all start to stink within a few days. I’ve also tried the gel litters, which don’t clump and also smell horrible. Ökocat is truly the best. Other brands claim that they last a whole month, sure if you don’t mind the smell of sour, urine soaked, dirty soaks smelling up your utility room. This brand actually clumps, has a light woody smell, traps odors, and is low dust. With regular scooping every other day, I truly don’t have to change out the litter completely and wash the bin more that every 4-6 weeks, and there is no smell. Give it a try, it’s also much lighter than other brands.

Great Upgrade
Really great replacement for clay litter. I noticed my cat sounding a little wheezy and coughing, so I figured it was an allergy. I started researching for better healthier alternatives and this is where I landed. I could not be happier. It has a nice sawdust woody smell, it clumps so much better and the best part is that is so much cleaner. My cat doesn’t track it everywhere and it just overall seems to be a better solution. It is heavy if you get the XL bag, I just kept one of the containers from a past litter purchase and poured it in there. I would say it’s worth its value in convenience. Less cleaning and more peace of mind that my girl is breathing better.

NO smell.
My top priorities for litter were no clay and odor control.I tried Sustainably Yours (corn and cassava) and pine pellets before; SY made the entire room reek for $20 a month, and pine pellets were just inconvenient with having to update my entire litterbox system (sifting litterbox, pee pads, etc.) Before making the switch to natural litters, I liked A&H Unscented litter for its odor control.Okocat is perfect. Very reasonably priced considering the weight is equal to double the amount you’d get of the same lbs of clay, since wood is lighter per volume. For the first time, I walked into the room and actually forgot to scoop. Nothing smelled. Even when I scooped. Slightly less tracking than A&H litter. Doesn’t sludge up and stick to the bottom of the tray. Great clumping, firmer than I expected. Just perfect litter, and probably easier to switch to than pellets for pickier cats.EDIT: There actually is sawdust. It doesn’t stick to furniture or soil your surroundings like clay dust does, but it’s there when you pour in the last bit of litter and after a while of scooping. Not really an issue for me at all. There’s also tracking (with a 4-5 month old kitten), not anymore than clay litter, but I clean daily regardless so I don’t mind. I have a standard steel litterbox pan with no mat or anything to minimize tracking. Smell does start coming in right after ‘use’ about 2-3 weeks into using the same litter. I used to deep clean and reset the litterbox once a week with A&H so this is already a huge improvement.

Love the litter; hate this new package
I’ve been using this litter for years. When I lived in an apartment, this litter worked well because it clumped nicely and the area around the box smelled like wood, not clay. Our cats use it no problem.Normally, I’d give this 5 stars, but then they changed the package recently. It used to be in a box with a plastic bag inside. I get that plastic isn’t really eco friendly, but the litter rarely if ever spilled out. I took a picture of the Amazon box after lifting out the new litter package and, as you can see, around half a cup to a cup of litter is all along the bottom. The glue holding the new bags shut doesn’t seem strong enough to work. Hopefully they’ll get it right cuz I don’t wanna look for another brand of litter right now.

Great Kitty Litter
I really like using this cat litter. It doesn’t have the dust you usually get when using a clay based litter. It is absorbent, and keeps odor to a minimum. Clean up is easy when using a slotted scoop.

This is low tracking not no tracking
This original formula is lower tracking than traditional litter. I tried the larger pellets and wanted to like them but just didn’t like how they sifted so now I’m using this. I’m using a heavy duty metal sifter when scooping and you have to gently shake the litter back and forth to get it to sift. It’s not like the clay litters so a cheap small scoop might not work. It smells better and more natural like wood shavings do and I like that it isn’t as heavy and seems to last longer than traditional litter. I’m getting about two weeks before I’m wanting to change the litter completely. That is my preference as levels are going down in the box and seems like what’s left is not as clean as I like. I have 2 cats and 2 boxes. I’m going through a medium size box in 2 weeks so I have 2 boxes on repeat order once a month. It’s not Cheaper but better environmentally and cleaner so that’s good enough for me. It did take my cats some time to get used to it. At first if I didn’t get to scooping the box once a day my cats would poop on the floor but now they exclusively go in the box but I try to make good effort to scoop once a day. Hope this helps.Update: how about high tracking. The litter gets absolutely everywhere! Even on me, it sticks to my cats feet and I find it on the floor upstairs when the box is in the basement, I find it on the back of the couch, I find it on my pants when my cat sits on me. It does last longer but I can’t stand the tracking and I have been using it for months now and I think I’m going to try the bigger pellets again if I can get my cats to use it.

Hi, I’ve been using this for 6 months now and it’s really good. Hardly any odour and it clumps very well so you don’t need to use to much. Upfront it’s more money than the supermarket stuff, but you use a lot less, so actually cheaper. I would recommend it. Sprinkle a little of your old cat litter on top just so the cat gets used to the new stuff.

I give it 5 stars as for the price it is an excellent litter. Pine smell IF the cats dig the poop under lol. Clumps well. Some tracking. But the litter pan is in the utility room with the vacuum standing by. Seems to last 6 weeks for 2 cats. I prefer natural litter as i can dump it into the compost instead of garbage. My only problem is that my cats don’t like it lol.
