Good when I bought it 4 years ago, and good buying new today
The first time I purchased this cat toy was early 2022, and it took 4 years and 4 different cats to finally use up the battery. Even still, the cats play with the first one, which I’ve attached to a different stick.It’s now the end of 2025 and I’ve purchased this toy again, and I can happily say the cats love it just as they did years agoRegarding price, to anyone who looks at this toy and goes “hold up what 17$ for a toy??” I bought it 4 years ago at 14$ and it lasted a good long while.Regarding materials, it’s well made and took a beating from 4 different cats over 4 years, and survived 2 moves.Photos of 4 year old cat toy and brand new cat toy next to each other. Only differences I noted were no more fuzzy tail, and I cut off the tag on the old one. I recommend for any cat who likes to hunt or needs stimulation.

Kitten loves it!
My almost 4-month crazy kitten goes BONKERS for this toy. The squeaking sounds add to his fun. When I’m not playing with it with him, he drags it around the house. It’s a nice weight and size and easy for me to manipulate. After a few days, some of the feathers are gone (not a big deal) but the rope has started to fray where it is connected to the mouse. So I don’t expect it to last too long. A little disappointing, but I’m not too surprised. Crazy kittens are very destructive and have very sharp teeth. It should last longer with an older cat.

Cats go crazy for the chirping sound
My cats absolutely love this toy, especially the chirping sound, it really grabs their attention and keeps them engaged during playtime. The feathers add to the appeal and make it feel more like real prey, which they go nuts for. My only complaint is that I wish the string was stretchy, since that would give a little more play range and movement during interactive play. That said, it’s still a fun and stimulating toy overall, and one my cats consistently come back to.

Well made and lasts a long time Well worth the money
This is a toy my cat loves. The tail feathers don’t make a week with kitten claws but that doesn’t seem to matter to him. He loves to chase it and drag it around the floor. I put the stick between the couch cushions so it dangles and he has at it. Lots of exercise for him and laughs for me

Cats Love Realistic Squeak
My cats absolutely love this toy. The mouse is designed so that it’s realistic squeak when it is bounced or batted keeps the cats’ attention better than many of my other teaser toys. When I get the toy out to play, as soon as they hear the squeak, the cats come running to play with it.I like that this toy encourages them to run around and jump high into the air and get exercise that they otherwise don’t get as indoor cats.As for the value for the money, think that the toy is slightly overpriced. I have previously purchased the same toy from a local retailer for about half the price. I was only willing to pay this higher price because my original teaser was accidentally damaged by visiting child, and I have been unable to find a replacement at the original retailer.

My cat’s favorite toy
My cat LOVES this toy. We’ve had it for years and she drags it around everywhere she goes. The mouse is barely hanging on to the thread anymore, the pole long gone and squeaker missing for years because she’s played and loved this thing to death and back. I’ll never throw it away.

My two cats love this. The video says it all. The mouse squeaks, so it is enticing to them. The current price of $10.90 plus tax seems to be the going rate these days.

Here for a good time, not for a long time
This is literally one of my picky cat’s favorite toys. It is very cute. He gets so excited chasing the little squeaker mouse and even carries it around the house sometimes. Unfortunately it’s not the most durable. He’s torn the mouse off of his first one and the replacement I bought him is now hanging on my a thread or two. Fortunately, he does still like the playing with the mouse after it falls off the string, but not to the same degree of excitement and sustained attention

I purchased a second one just in case the first one ever breaks. My two cats are really rough with any toy that hangs, so I’m super pleased that it’s been holding out! Recently we got a new puppy so it did some considerable damage to the poor mouse. The string is tough and can withstand their teeth!!! It makes these cute squeaky sounds when it gets knocked around, and my cats go crazy. Totally worth every penny!

This type of toy is one of my favourites for two types of active play with my cats and foster cats: 1. Running around the house with it trailing and swerving so they chase it. 2. Having it dart back and forth while I watch TV and give them a work out. Either way, it keeps cats active and many like it. However this particular brand came apart (the string broke apart from the wand) with rambunctious play after about a week. The thick cord which runs through the wand is not actually secured very well inside that wand. It needs to be more sturdily constructed – because rambunctious play is expected. Also, it squeaks too easily (as compared to our other squeaky mice). The cat pulled the feathers off the back of it in about 5 minutes of normal play – and this was not leaving the item within reach.
