Finally a good small cage
I was impressed with the quality and ease of installing. Having a metal base will make cleaning easier. It is a small cage but it fits my mini rex pretty well. I’ll still need to exercise him out of the cage but think he’ll be comfortable. I’ve bought several cages over the years and this one is a nice mix of wood and metal and a good design. I’d prefer an all metal version of this design but I know it would increase the price.

Good quality product but it is smaller than you think. We have 1 New Zealand mix rabbit and it only works as a temp hold, too small to live full time.

Easy assembly and very functional!
Easy assembly. My 12 year old daughter put it together by herself. She was proud that she finished it in less than 40 minutes. The metal wire frame above the litter tray is an excellent feature! This looks like a very sturdy and functional hutch. I have high hopes for this!

Well constructed but very small
It’s sturdy and well put together but quite small. I would not recommend it for a rabbit larger than a Nigerian dwarf. It would be more suited for a guinea pig. Although elevated, it does not stand very far off the ground and is therefore not appropriate for outside use as dogs and wildlife could easily reach your pet.

Do not buy for indoor use

Good for the price
Needed some modifications but not bad for the price. It is smaller than it seems and not suited for larger rabbits.

First. The cage smelled like chemicals SO BAD it needed to be aired out for three days. Second. The one “latch” is just a piece of metal that spins- like when a person makes a cheap latch for a shed by putting a nail through a small scrap wood piece- not ideal for an animal enclosure. The top has no latch whatsoever and isn’t very heavy either – a rabbit would be able to push up on it to get it open and get out. Third. We finally get Bunny into it after airing it out and his feet were falling through the mesh, a back leg went through the long slots and when he turned , his foot was then stuck. Lucky it happened when we were there and he didn’t break his leg. So now I need to go purchase hardware cloth to add to the bottom. Fourth!! Yes , why so many issues .. the dimensions listed are not the living space , it’s the roof, the actual space the bunny gets is just under 15”x 32” because the roof overhangs a couple inches on all sides.The single good thing about it , is that it’s cute . My seven year old loves how it looks… and refuses to understand the issues with it are worth returning it, but he doesn’t want to because he “ likes it” and doesn’t like the other cages we have looked at getting. If it wasn’t for my son “ needing “ this cage, I’d be returning it. I’m still trying to look for other options he would like so I can return this garbage and get my money back!
