Fantastic for cockatiel
This turned out even better than imagined and made a great Christmas gift! Little bird all happy to go on walks with his mom! All the vents are great, visibility, carry ability, sturdiness, the little stick and bottom tray. Absolutely everything is perfect and just the right size for a cockatiel. Love love love!!

A Great Bird Carrier—Even Better with a Few Tweaks!
I can’t say enough good things about this bird backpack carrier! Dunkin, my parrotlet, absolutely loves it, and so do I. The design is great—it’s spacious enough for him to move around, and the clear front lets him take in the view while we’re out. I did make a few creative modifications to improve its sturdiness and functionality. I sewed fabric onto a piece of cardboard and placed it inside the side mesh pocket, which helps keep the carrier open and prevents it from folding in on itself.For added comfort, I attached a wooden perch to the bottom center hole so Dunkin has something to land on if he hops down. The perch, along with the stainless steel bowls I’ll be adding on either side, is meant for a regular birdcage, but they work perfectly with this carrier as well. I also customized the metal tray by sewing fabric onto it and placing a paper towel on top to catch droppings, making cleanup easier and ensuring a more comfortable space for Dunkin.The carrier is lightweight, well-ventilated, and the tropical design always gets compliments. Even without modifications, it’s a great way to bring Dunkin along on adventures, but with a little creativity, it’s even better!

Wonderful Bird Carrier
I love this bird carrier! I own a dove, and she feels safe in it because she can see me. It’s light, pretty (I get compliments on it), and it folds up conveniently. It is so easy to store—just fold it up. I highly recommend this carrier, especially when carrying your bird to the vet.

Great quality and easy set up
Over all a great quality carrier for your feathered friend. My bird can perch or climb around comfortably. There’s room for snacks and toys. Its easy to set up and wear. The metal tray is easy to clean as well.

Great for Short Trips
I got this Bird Backpack Carrier mainly to take my cockatiels on short trips, and overall it works really well. The design feels sturdy, and I really like that it includes a stand perch, my birds actually use it and seem comfortable inside. The ventilation is good, and the visibility through the clear front is a nice touch so they don’t feel too closed in.Just keep in mind it’s best for short outings or vet visits. It’s not super big, so I wouldn’t recommend it for long trips, but for quick travel it does the job perfectly. Easy to carry, lightweight, and my cockatiels didn’t seem stressed at all.Good quality for the price!

Very cute and my bird loves it it the straps length went tight enough so my bird doesn’t get to dizzy with the movement and is good for bike ride and easy to build very light and was very cheap for this good of a product loved it shipping was done within a few days

Works as intended…
The carrier itself looks great, and it’s perfect for transferring my birds to the vet, but I still have a few problems with it.First of all, a metal bottom is kind of a terrible addition to any bird carrier that no one seems to get. First of all, you’re moving, so if the bird hops off the perch for one second, they’ll go flying. I had to change out the bottom for a yoga mat, which brings me to my second problem…There is no stiff bottom, so if I have to place the carrier on an uneven surface, the carrier bottom is going to be all wonky. A very annoying aspect of it.Third off, the carrier half collapses when you open the whole door, but if you stick to the other partial opening, it’s just fine.Fourth, I was a bit annoyed to find when the product arrived, the perch screws were all rusted and the metal bottom was damaged and warped, plus it was shrink wrapped with caused the metal corners to cling on to it, making it impossible to pull of every piece of plastic embedded in the sides themselves.Finally fifth, there are no covers to stop the birds from looking outside the carrier which I typically like. It calms my birds down, and it’s an option I’d like to have, but is not entirely necessary.Overall, if you’re looking for something aesthetic, affordable, gets the job done and don’t have a bird that goes psycho if they can see in the carrier, this is probably a good choice. I’ll probably be buying one again simple out of affordability and convenience.

This little backpack is adorable! We have a Quaker and needed a small, quick option for transporting him on short trips.The bag works well, and our bird adapted quickly, using the included perch immediately.There was no smell from the bag ( saw that in another review ), and every piece is solidly attached ( if you have a bird you know how quickly they can take something apart ).Great option for us, very happy with this purchase.

The metal tray that came with the larger mesh backpack is completely the wrong size and does not fit. The product still works without it, and nothing else is wrong, but it’s a bit strange that the tray is several cm longer than the space it’s supposed to go in.
