Two weeks ago, we got a little tuxedo cat who was in horrible shape-skinny, miscarrying, picked on by the other cats in the pound so badly that she had to be isolated. She’s since had quite a bit of medical care, and our vet suggested that we feed her Purina One Pro, as it’s one of the most nutritious, pure cat foods out there. When we adopted her, she wouldn’t eat. Now she’s gobbling up her Purina, has put on weight, is a total love bug and this morning knocked every single thing off of a dresser. She’s got a way to go, but we fully believe that Purina One Pro will help her to get there. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Quality cat food that both cats like and vet is good with
Ordered this as a test after the kittens turned one. Took maybe a bag before they fully adjusted but now they “ask” for it every day.Our vet recommended ProPlan as her cat food recommendation and that’s mostly what we give to the kitties since adopting them.We also feed wet food, so they get the best nutrition possible and treat this as their daily “snack” instead of the other low quality “treats” out there on the market.Yes, it’s a bit expensive, but if we are going to feed dry food we’d prefer to provide them with higher quality food.

Was buying my cat a more expensive cat food that was supposed to help with hairballs since she is a long hair. Unfortunately, she was still hacking them up everywhere. Read some reviews on different foods and comments from various vets who recommended this brand as being a quality alternative for a cat’s health. It is a hard kibble which seems to have a good taste since my cat gobbles it up. Since serving this food to her she seems happier and I have seen a reduction in the number of hairballs. Definitely a good value considering the health of my cat and the savings it offers.
