Great food for giant breed dogs and Rip (English mastiff) loves it’
Great food for our giant English mastiff puppy. It’s expensive but so important to give giant breed dogs the right food for slower growth. He loves it. It’s huge kibble but he eats it easily. I started him on this when we brought him home from the breeder at just under 8 weeks. I put some hot water on it for the first week or so because je was so young g and I felt like the kibble was too big but he was fine with it.At 8 weeks he weighed 18lbs and at 14 weeks he weighed 49#

I have a Great Pyr Pup. This was highly recommend by my vet. High quality. My pup loves it. Pricey but so worth it.

You get what you pay for
My Great Dane pup has the world’s most sensitive stomach and the hills large breed puppy gives him diarrhea, as does every other brand. RC is known for top quality ingredients that produce perfect, healthy stools. I gave it 4 stars for taste because my pup doesn’t seem to love it and 4 stars for price because it’s about $30 more than Hills which is also known for their reliability and ingredients. My pup blows through almost 2.5 bags a month and that gets pricey! But it’s better than having to scrape poop out of the grass and take him to get his anal glands expressed every couple of weeks…which was the case when he was on Hills. Not enough fiber in their formula, maybe? Either way, RC fixed his digestive system right up and he is growing like a champ. We will continue to pay their astronomical prices knowing our pup is happy and healthy.

Great dog food
I used to get any dog food that was on sale until I looked up which is best for my bully. Royal Canin is highly recommended and all three of my puppies love it. It keeps their stools normal, not watery, and it’s good for them

I have a Harlequin Great Dane, and this food has been awesome for him. We needed a giant large puppy food for him, and there are not that many out there. I did my research, and this was the best food for his sensitive digestive system. He has had no problems what so ever. He is 14- weeks old and already 65 lbs. The dog food has all the right ingredients. It maybe a little on the expensive side, and he goes through 2 bags a month, as of right now. They do make a junior dog food, after he turns about 8 months old. As they say ” You get what you pay for”, and I feel like thqat this is the best dog food that I can get for him.

Best Puppy Food for Giant breeds!
I have used Royal Canin for years – even bringing it in from Europe before it was sold here! LOVE the science behind it, innovative formulas to suit unique needs (like the one to help females concieve/carry/whelp healthy puppies) & breeds (love the German Shepherd Puppy & Adult!) & the dogs all go crazy for the food – making it double as a training reward!While the recipes do not appear to be as ‘super-premium’ as some foods (no organically grass fed Angus beef & no grains) the results are undeniable!And in this case, this is the 1st time I’ve decided to raise a large/giant breed puppy (a Borzoi) on a food labeled ‘puppy’! Traditionally large/giant breed dog breeders/dog ppl have avoided commercial puppy food at all cost, as it caused severe growth abnormalities (like panosteitis) due to too much protein & an imbalanced Calcium to Phosphorous Ratio, making the big pups grow too fast. Even I followed this up until now – until my research into their data showed they tackled exactly this problem & creating a food tailor-made for Giant Breed puppies.My picky pup LOVES the food & has been developing properly & I will not only use, but recommend this diet – the ONLY ‘puppy’ food I trust!
