The Best Hamster Sand
I’ve tried a handful of brands of hamster sand and this is my favorite – it keeps the smell down, it clumps in a way that I can scoop, and I find that I like the coarse consistency.

My hamster Nibbles is very fond of this food. PLUS, no bugs or worms in it! Yay!
The best part … NO WORMS or bugs! Nibbles, our fluffy Teddy Bear hamster is loving it! She grabbed a big peanut (in the shell) and went to town on that delectable treat. This has a lot more fancy ingredients than your standard fare.WHAT A RELIEF! This brand is quality made and not infested (that I can tell). I always store hamster food in scrubbed clean glass containers with tight snap on lids. I have learned my lesson after we had issues in the past. So far so good on this brand by Hazel brand! Wooo whooo!I was reading reviews on the hamster food brand that we had before (that had WORMS IN IT!) and another brand I had to return to the pet store because some nasty bugs hatched that fly around (strange moth like insects). SO GROSS … the food had “web like” sticky clumps and sure enough, I looked carefully and some cream colored tiny worms at the bottom (which I’m sure will eventually cocoon themselves and hatch into moth grossness)Be care of what you buy. If it’s super cheap, there’s a reason. This one is a better quality and you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to pet food.

My dwarf hammies loved this stuff! I bought a bag of the haze and a bag of the harry. A bit pricey, though. It is worth it, and it is a good variety for my hammies!

Our little nugget loves this food and buries it in his palace and is good for days. Just because the food disappears does not mean its all gone! Our family has a blessing and a sometimes curse of keeping little pets alive wellpast their life expectancy!!

It is has some really good food items consisting of peanut pieces, corn, sunflower seeds, brown pellets, red pellets, dried mango, yellow pellets, and little hard seeds.

I like the variety of things. My hamster refuses to eat the “healthy pellets” so these mixes are great. She gets to forage for the bits she wants.
