Buy Enough Pump
I run two pumps in my outdoor pond to create water spouts, but one of them died. I wasn’t sure what size replacement I needed because the markings on the pumps do not include flow rates. As a result, the first replacement pump I purchased proved to be woefully under-powered and created a spout that only rose about six inches. I next ordered this one because it offered three times as much water flow. My only fear was it might shoot the water 20 feet into the air instead of a few feet. When I first installed it, nothing happened even though it was running. I inspected it and tried again. Some water bubbled out, then a geyser shot about four feet into the air. I presume it took some time to prime itself. It’s been running constantly for the past week without issue. I gave it four stars because it lacked a long solid tube for creating the geyser. Thankfully, I was able force-fit some parts I had let over from past pumps to create the desired effect.

leak proof indoor used external water pump
Many of us keep aquarium fishes in the living room, if we don’t have sump to return water to the aquarium, we will need a indoor external water pump to remove mechanical waste from the fishes waste, this is when you will find it next to impossible to get a reliable external water pump, I tried water pump from at least 8 different manufacturer, even those the picture always show O-ring for inlet and outlet, but it was sent consistently without it (see second picture), it will leak water into living room without the O-ring, it took a lot of effort to find this pump (see second) picture that operate without O ring and seal water tightly with leaking water to living room. I highly recommend this pump to many of the hobbyists who have the same need.

Good pumps, good support!
I had a couple minor issues with one of these pumps. When I got in touch with the manufacture, they quickly honored their warranty!Other then those little mishaps they have been very good pumps. The circulation is what they claim. They have been running during each season now. From 40-100+ degrees and they have been reliable. Cleaning is relatively easy. I will buy another of their pumps if the setup is appropriate.

Duration Matters!
This is my second pond pump, first one lasted about eight years so i’m hoping this one will last just as long. my pond is only about 150 gallons so for the water fall and the fountain it works super well and have never had any issues. I also attribute this to the pre filter that I have before the pump that then goes to the main filter, the pre filter picks up all the heavy debri and I clean that as needed, the main filter has never been cleaned and it flows like knew, that is why I brought up the prefilter, I think it saves the pump and the main filter for year of use… my two cents anyways… Other than that, I’d get this pump any day of the week just for it’s duration…

Great flow and coverage
My fountain is tall. All the pumps I have used in the past only trickled down partially on my fountain even though they advertised the hight that I needed. This one covers the entire surface – front, back and sides with a waterfall.
