Works greatI had power outage twice since I bought these and they have worked great to keep my fish alive and oxygenated.They are a little noisy but that’s ok.

Don’t be with out one of theseI had one and the power went outI have some extremely expensivePlanted shrimp tanks !I was able to hook this up to 4 tanks for 2 hoursKept. Alternating it back and forth every 20 minutes to my outher 10 tanks ! Definitely got another one !

Battery dies faster than expected
This product helped me cross the country with my fish. Even though I could never find the D batteries on my own in the store, I was always able to get some. The instructions are in chinese with no english translation, so I didn’t know how long to expect the batteries to last. My estimation is that they last 16-24 hours, so don’t get caught without back up batteries. Otherwise they were not very loud, they disturbed the water great, and I am very pleased with this purchase.

Arrived without instructions and did not work!
I thought this was really neat at first since it ran off of batteries. I intended on using it to aerate water for hydroponic ant prolongation.This air pump was a complete disappointment. It arrived with no instructions, and only worked for about an hour before giving out. I even changed the batteries, but that didn’t help. The device looks like something straight out of the 60s, and the outdated design matches its poor performance. Definitely do not recommend. Save your money and look for something more reliable!

Dollar store size D batteries last over 4 hours
Lots of air quality perfect when you need to travel with aquarium fish. I use a five gallon bucket with a lid that I drill a hole into got the air hose. And the price. Am about to order some more just to have on hand for any emergency such as electricity power outages.

It worked well when I transported my fish in a car for 7 hours. Then used at home during a day time for a week. After that the pump stopped working. Probably will purchase the replacement from another company for emergency power outages.
