Definitely glad I purchased this!
I have been using this for months now and the birds love it, especially the woodpeckers. Each box lasts a long time, so there is a good amount in there. I was a little hesitant because I had to purchase a separate special bird feeder to hold these nuggets, but it was well worth it. It has multiple height perches, so there will be multiple birds on it at the same time.

Good value for suet, birds like it
This is called a woodpecker blend yet has similar ingredients to C&S’s other “suet peanut” offerings. Since this one is the least expensive, we settled on it. My 90 yr old mom goes though a box every 3-4 weeks and I go through a little less (but have fewer feeders). All the birds seem to like it, especially as the cold settles in. The high fat is good for the birds when it’s cold and these peanuts are much more convenient and sized to measure, blend and mix into standard feeders. Always appears fresh and comes in a re-sealable plastic bag to stay that way. C&S is a quality brand.

These are a huge hit with many other birds as well as woodpeckers
I mix these suet nuggets in with various other goodies in several tray/platform feeders. If there’s anything left in those feeders by the end of the day (which there seldom is), it’s never the suet nuggets.I see chickadees, titmice, bluejays, cardinals, wrens, warblers, kinglets, red-winged blackbirds, doves, and a red-bellied woodpecker all enjoying them.So far, it seems that just one of my woodpeckers has ventured from their usual feeders to discover these, but she makes several trips per day for them, eating several on-site and then grabbing one more for the road.

Birds love it!
They birds love these nuggets, and I feel like I am giving them a little extra fuel in this cold weather. It comes in a resealable bag inside a cardboard box, so it was secure and no spillage, which I appreciate. I just put out 2 cups an hour ago and it is already gone. Bluejays, Cardinals, doves, and even a Crow & a Woodpecker came by, not to mention all the little sparrows. Fun to watch them get excited about the nuggets.

My birds love these suet nuggets…and so do I !!! So easy to feed with no mess and no waste. Of everything I offer in the feeder these suet nuggets are always the first to go!! This Golden-Fronted Woodpecker proves my point.
